My first was last October and I did it in 36 mins! I was no where near the back which I really thought I would be, because, like everyone else has been saying, sooo many people walk or do a mixture of jogging and walking! Either way it doesn't matter as long as you have fun...which you totally will! :-) I've now signed up…

I started running/jogging by using this amazing book called 'Run Your Butt Off', which focuses on the time you run rather than the distance you're covering and builds you up slowly so you don't injure yourself or get put off if you can't do it straight way. 100% recommend that book!! Really inspirational as well as great…

Tim and Jingles were suddenly overcome by the urge to dance...to Gangnam Style!

My goal is currently 170lbs, and to be honest at this point in time I can't even imagine being that low! But then I've never been less than 220 in the whole of my adult life so anything less than that is good! But yeah in my head I think 170-180 would suit me...I have a pretty big frame and am told I hide my weight well…

I find cherry tomatoes are good to pick at. I also love melon and if you cut it up into chunks, put it in a tub and take it to work with you then you can just pick at it as you want through the day...its super sweet and its fruit so its healthy and pretty low calorie :-)

I try to have little 'goals' throughout the year and usually more events and stuff than actual weight goals. For example looking good for a wedding you're going to, a birthday or for a holiday. I find doing it like that just makes it less of a big massive thing (because for me if I try to look too far ahead at my overall…

I think for me its not that I plan cheat or free days as such....I just have days where I go over due to life! Like having social stuff, say a birthday or a day out with friends or something. And I guess I just figure that I want to be able to keep up this healthy eating plan (because I'm trying not to think of it as a…

Yeah I guess I would say the same as most others really. Try drinking diet soda instead of full fat...you still get the satisfaction but without the extra calories! Planning ahead is good too, and trying to cook more at home as you have way more control over the calories. Also, like others have said I would say try and eat…

Zumba is brilliant fun! Its a great mixture of dancing and aerobics so burns plenty of calories whilst still being fun! Other things I like to do include cycling (outdoors), badminton, aqua aerobics, body pump and good old fashioned walking!

I too have a really small 'fanny pack' (or bum bag as we English call it!) that came from a running store. Its much smaller than your average pack so it doesn't bounce around and annoy me when I'm running....in fact quite often during the run I have a quick check to make sure its still there since I don't really feel it at…
