  • I'll check it out for sure. I'm "addicted" to carrying a water bottle and drinking water all the time. I might as well add some flare into the water and jazz it up LOL. It must have been months since I did the last yogaX. And that's what I did last night. I only did about 50 minutes ago -- mainly because I did the first 30…

  • What is the MIO thingy? Is it one of those flavor liquid that you add to your water? Sorry I've been seeing a lot of those lately but haven't tried yet. I too have been drinking a cup or two of Joe a day..I drink it black Cruz I don't want the sugar :) I had an excellent workout yesterday. How do I know? Because my body is…

  • I was mainly looking for high protein and low carb. I looked at Gold Standard which is rather popular and is used by most of my friends. It however only has 24g of protein I think and I bit pricey. The one I bought I believe just came out from the same company a few months back. With 30g of protein and low carb that met my…

  • @no_finish_line - Good job man!! What workout are you going to do next? Yesterday was cardio day for me and I did Insanity Fast & Furious again. I must have done this more than half a dozen time in the past few weeks but it still kicked my butt LOL. My heart rate remained to be very high during the short 20-minute workout.…

  • @lsotham - did you get a chance to try that yet? I did CST and ARX last night. I was trying to do 30 pushups whenever Tony says to do the max. I was able to do 30+ in chest and back. But the 4 fast and 4 slow in the beginning of CST made my arms somewhat tired so I was only able to do 20 :( And I started to experience…

  • Awesome! What was the toughest move for you? I'm starting my week 5 of p90x/insanity hybrid today. I bought a big tub of Optimum Nutrition's Performance 100% Whey Isolate yesterday. Each serving has 140 calories but with a whopping 30g of protein!! Can't wait to give that a try :)

  • @lyndabyh - sounds like you've been liking asylum so far. Way to go! I did legs and back yesterday. I thought the insanity workouts were pretty good workout for the legs and I was partially right because my legs were very sore on the first week and the week after the recovery. But after doing legs and back yesterday, oh…

  • Last night was Insanity cardio recovery for me. It had been weeks since I did it. I did it because this week is supposed to be my hybrid recovery so I thought it would be fitting to do a workout with recovery in its name. Maybe I'm getting old but I've forgotten that cardio recovery isn't really a relaxing workout lol!…

  • So I had to take a night off last night because I ended up spending way too much time doing a bunch of clean up and hanging more blinds at the condo. The top part/bar of some of the blinds that I bought were slightly wider than window frames. I didn't have extra tools with me so it took me forever to get them fitted into…

  • Yay! Good job! You may not have had much fat to lose to begin with. Did you measure your body fat before and after?

  • Now that's interesting. I would love to feel sore the next day without feeling wiped out after the workout LOL.

  • Yesterday was supposed to be my cardio or stretching day but I didn't feel like I've worked the muscles hard enough the day before. So I decided to do shoulders and arms instead. I increased my shoulder press to 45 lbs on each arm. Since it was pretty heavy, I opted to do it in seated position for better support. Oh boy I…

  • My tenant for 8 years have recently moved out of my condo so before the new tenant moves in me and my wife have to clean up the place. We got a contractor to change out the carpet, and fix a few things in the bathrooms but there are still a few things left for us to do. Last night I went and installed some new blinds, did…

  • I personally use Pure Protein Bar. The Chocolate Deluxe flavor has 20g of protein, 17g of carb and 4.5g of fat. Not sure if it's available over there.

  • @lyndabyh - LOL... yes stretching will help. Hope you feel better :) @allysonvb - what bootcamp are you attending? @2sweet84 - I would suggestin increasing your protein intake further to 45 or even 50% (which is what I did). 1700 should be fine :) @kpcc55 - Awesome job! Keep digging deep!

  • @ryan5050 - Good job! Set your mind right and keep pushing every single time. You've come a long way so do whatever you can to finish month 2 strong! @lyndabyh, @no_finish_line - yeah, I only workout once a day and that's enough for me. Being on a calorie deficit diet, I don't want to end up losing too much muscles by…

  • Yeah I think got it right. Tai Cheng challenge pack is on sale this month if you're interested. I haven't done it but the moves are very similar to the traditional chinese Tai Chi which is a form of martial art but slow though.

  • Thanks! I'm just trying bro...trying my best. Having done it so many times I bet you'll know what to do as long as you add a description of the moves to your workout sheet. I think is buffet :)

  • @greeenerone - Way to go! Did you meet your goal for the last round? @wffolkes - Welcome! Thanks for joining and keeping us posted :) You got some great transformation there. My quads and legs are getting a bit sore today from the Fit Test I did on Tuesday. I didn't feel much soreness when I was doing my first round of…

  • Yesterday was my Week 3 Day 3 - Shoulders and Arms. I decided not to follow the video but to use the workout sheet as a guide, instead. Well the real reason is I was working out in my company's gym and I didn't have the DVD with me LOL. I find that video is longer than necessary due to the talking, extra breaks and stuff.…

It's been almost a couple of weeks since I did my final Insnaity Fit Test. Yesterday was my cardio day so I tried the fit test to…

  • @mizvandyk - Enjoy your recovery week! And nice profile pic BTW :) @bear_28 - I too had to take many breaks and many times stopped before the time for that particular set is up. But you do your best and stick with it the best you can. If your heart rate is in the danger zone, take a quick 5-10 seconds break to recover…
