Yep...got the quotes from the internet and made them into the graphics :)

I don't mix anything with shakeology...just water.

You don't need any supplements shakeology if your goal is to lose weight. Simple calorie deficit should work. However, to boost fat loss, it's best to go with a higher protein and lower carb diet (e.g. 50% P, 30% c, and 20% f). It works for me. I personally use shakeology and I'm a beachbody coach but I don't sell it to…

Oh yea.... and I couldn't straighten my arms and it hurt like hell for like a few days! Plyo was tough too. I remember that my heart was racing so bad that almost puked just 10 minutes into the warm up LOL. But it's all good stuff. I finished that in Jan 2013 and I'm about to finish Insanity this week. If you want to see…

Yes, it was a pleasant surprise. I want to get better though in my second round :)

____ I have done better than I expected, I have lost 5 kilos and firmed up noticeably. I am obviously not where I want to be but Insanity has shown me that I can do it, I just have to find something as motivating to help me lose the remaining 10 kilos. [/quote] What's your current weight and your body fat%?

Thanks for the tips....let see if this works :)

Way to go! Hey - not a big deal but if you could post your future Insanity workout under the existing INSANITY thread that would make it easier for other members to follow :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/914638-insanity

Welcome Power_man77 - what workout did you do?
-
I've been working out later in the night than I wanted to. Normally I workout at around 7pm and then have dinner but this week I've been working out after 9pm. Reaon being I have been staying at work later and take last night for example I had to run to the store to do grocery before headed home. But hey, none of these…
-
@fitblackchick - You go girl! You take as many breaks as you _need_ to so that you can keep going :) @greenerone - I, too, will finish Insanity this week! I've decided to start another round of P90X/Insanity hybrid starting April 8. I'll still be using this board to track my accountability so feel free to join regardless…
-
@Ryan5059 - like nofinishline said, you dont "have" to log your exercise in MFP. It's more for accountability. If you do log it like most of us do, make sure you understand that the moment you enter them, MFP is going to adjust your remaining calorie budget. And it makes a lot of people think that they should eat back the…

I quit drinking Dr Pepper and sports drinks, sugar free or not since October 9 2012 - the day I started P90X. I used to drink at least 2-3 cans a day and I haven't had a drop since.

@allysonvb - Look at you! What a huge improvement from the first fit test! 110 Power Knees, 20 push up jacks, and 56 low plank oblique! I would suggest that before you do the next fit test, look at your previous numbers and try to hit or exceed that number. It works for me and I ended up pushing way harder and burning more…

Go to the EXERCISE tab then click My Exercises. From there you can create/name your p90x exercises.

I doubt that it was the heart rate. That's more likely the calorie burned. Our maximum age-related heart rate can be calculated by subtracting our age from 220. For example, for a 35 year old guy like me, my max age-related HR would be 220-35 which is 185 beats per minute (bpm). I normally get to the 85-90% zone during…

Happy Wednesday Team!! As you know for the past couple of weeks I've been doing the Insanity/P90X hybrid. The goal is to burn crazy calories from doing Insanity and at least maintain/condition my muscles doing P90X. So far, in the hybrid routine I've been doing Chest Shoulders Triceps and Shoulders/Arms primarily but I…

Welcome aboard! Please make yourself "at home" :) We need each others' support and motivation so please post your accountability and workout here everyday!
-
@brawlerbella - wow...the estimates from that site actually came pretty close to my HRM reading. Thanks for the sharing!
-
Hi there - without a HRM (even a basic one), you can't really guestimate your workout burn because everyone is different. Even with the same weight/height/age, it will also depend on how hard you push yourself. :)
-
@Falenea - That's awesome! Congrats! Please post your before-after pics here! @no_finish_line - dude, you're killing it! Good job man!

So I started my final week on Insanity last night. Instead of doing Max Circuit, I decided to do the free DVD that came with the program - Fast and Furious and also did the Fit Test. F&F is a non-stop workout, much like pure cardio but shorter in length (~23 mins). There was a 4-5 mins stretching but the moves were all…
-
@allysonvb - Yes, it will be interesting! You could show them how tough and motivated you've become. Who knows you might inspire them to start exercising more :) @jporter2004 - Welcome! Good job on sticking with the program thus far. You can do it just as good/bad as everyone else. You determine your result. Any progress…
-
@dwest1976 - I've been contemplating about doing half marathon also. A friend of mine who's not really in a good shape did 2 half marathons last year. No way I'm gonna get beat right ? :) @ugmf12 - Welcome! You've come to the right place for support and motivation. We're checking in here everyday (some multiple times a…

Great job @teamike!

I've done P90X and am finishing up Insanity in a week. I would recommend P90X for faster weight/fat loss. The common understanding is cardio = weight loss and Insanity is primarily cardio. Well, doing an exercise like Insanity might help you burn a lot of calories DURING the workout but your body won't continue burning…

If you survived month 1, I guess you will do just fine in month 2. It's longer but not necessarily more intensive. You can also go at your own pace and modify the moves. Key is to keep moving and to keep your heart rate up when it's supposed to. I have a workout group here. Feel free to join and get support and…
