Well done on the 7.9 lbs loss.

thanks for that FITFUNTINA - I know. I hate the exercise bike - with a really passion I tell you. I may have to sneak in a video or 2 and go for a nice long walk on Sunday.

I do Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays usually. I went out to dinner last night and know I am retaining some salt so didn't weigh in this morning.

Hi there. I have a lot to lose as well and have the same number of containers. Once you get started after a week or so, it wont seem so overwhelming. The key is planning. You need to plan what your gonna have during the day. So this morning for breakfast I had 2 eggs (1 red), oatmeal (1 yellow), 1/2 blue (shredded cheese),…
-
Red container = 2/3 cup = 5 oz Green Container = 1 cup = 8 oz Purple Container = 1 cup = 8 oz Yellow container = 1/2 cup = 4 oz Blue container = 1/4 cup = 2 oz Orange Container = 2 tbsp = 1 oz
-
1/4 cup (2 oz) of dried red lentils = 4 oz cooked = 1 yellow container
-
Also: red lentils and garbonzo beans or any type of bean could be added to boost the protein.
-
I also make an old weight watchers soup - diced zucchini, diced carrots, diced onion, 1 14 oz can stewed or diced tomatoes, chicken bouillon cube, garlic, salt and pepper, crushed red pepper. If I want to make it Italian I use Italian stewed/diced tomatoes, basil or oregano. If I want to make it Asian, I add a little…

I did a reset and am starting fresh again today.

went for a walk yesterday and it killed me. not the distance but with my left foot acting up. I paid for it later that night. I am still gonna work out though - just icing my foot, rolling on the tennis ball and taking pain meds until I see the physio guy next week.
-
we have a nutri-bullet and we buy fruit/veggies for the office every week so the fixings for my smoothies during the week are at no cost to me. Yeah.
-
I am in Bermuda and the cost for shakeology to be shipped here is prohibitive. I use the protein powder that the office uses (free is always good).
-
sautee zucchini, onion, baby carrots diced, squash, mushrooms
-
I forgot to mention that it also has the food lists for each containers - nice when I don't have the book with me and need a quick reference.
-
mix 1/2 red container of yoghurt with 1 or 2 tsp nut butter and use as a dip for an apple or pear.
-
of course I start and my body is fighting me. Planter Fasciitis is acting up in my left heel and have to do physio now.
-
I make ahead brown rice and also pre-soak my oatmeal every night so it doesn't take so long too cook in the morning. I have my oatmeal savory - 2 poached eggs, 1/2 blue container shredded cheese and some scallions and tsp sesame oil.
