Started today - cant get all the food in
Well so far i am struggling just to finish lunch. food is way more than you think it would be. I am at the higher range so get 6 veggies and proteins, 4 fruits and carbs, 1 blue, 1 seed and 6 tsp. for breakfast was supposed to have: 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 purple and 1/2 blue - didn't get the purple in. for lunch was supposed…

Goals for January
So I thought i would share my goals for January: - Drink lots of water - positive self talk - eat mindfully (following Core) - work out minimum 3x/week - record what I eat (tend to slack at this - know don't need to for Core - but I found it kept me on track when I did)

Well my official start is today. I started tracking everything I was eating since Thursday and with todays official weight in i have lost 1.3 lbs. I find tracking what you eat really makes you aware of what you are eating.

Chicken Vegetable Soup (cycle 1)
Made this recipe today from the cookbook. Turned out great. I didn't use the okra (substituted zuchinni instead), and I left out celery (hate the taste). Used 1/2 head of cabbage. Starting on Saturday
I have tried this before. Made it through the first phase - lost 10 lbs. then life got in the way and I gained it back. I am back and it will be nice to share with people doing the same diet. :smile:
