  • congratulations on the 50lbs gone. it is a big milestone marker on your weight loss journey
  • do you work out at a gym? If so do they have TRX. If they do this could help you in doing a lunge
  • well than according to mfp in order for you to maintain the wt you are at you would need 2340 but that is if you do nothing all day but and are restricted to the bed/wheel chair. Most people are not thus they need beyond what mfp calls for as being their min. I would go with what your doctor has listed.
  • I too am going on a cruise in less than 2 weeks. I will be gone for 12 days and 11 nights. I personally am not aiming to lose anything during the trip but to at least maintain what I have lasted so far. The last time I went on the cruise I had breakfast in the room...fresh fruit yummm. And really did not go over board nor…
  • From time to time I work out in ann arbor at anytime fitness on Plymouth rd
  • I would not you would be better off eating an orange than drinking the juice that has all those additives in it
  • I have not hit 100 yet...although I have much more than that to lose but as my ticker shows I have lost over 80 pounds and this is since Sept 2012. comparison pics are my profile pic not sure how to post pics in the forum
  • Great question, I don't know the answer but have a question for you. How do you like your Galaxy tab 10.0 I am looking at getting a tablet and not sure what one I want to get. I want to use it for a number of things and would like to get it prior to going on my trip at the end of this month. I'm a grad student and would…
  • I didnot tell her that she was to heavy for it but rather that the type of exercise that she was doing was not what the ball was meant for, and stated that it is meant for static exercises up to 250lb....what she was doing was not static. With that being said I could see how someone could take it as me saying she is too…
  • The owners know about the equipment not being safe for anything other than static exercise with the exception of the one ball. However, they don't seem to care. According to the franchise they belong to they are not even suppost to have those type there, but they don't go around telling their members this. I guess I am the…
  • my pt has me doing some exercises that are a funky looking squat.....feet are inverted and you squat....not a deep squat as you hit knees if you try to and might even fall doing so
  • It took me a while for me to notice results. I had to lose close to 50 pounds. Now I tried on my shorts and they fall to the floor...so had to buy new ones...as we are going to PR in a couple of weeks and need shorts for the trip. IT was a great feeling to go to the store and get a smaller size edit: The change is clothing…
  • I don't think the gym owners care. When they first opened (over two years ago) they stated that they only put those balls there as a temporary thing till they could get professional grade ones and yet they are still in the gym with no replacement of any of them. Some of the other things that they have replaced has been…
  • I don't know how to post the pictures however there are comparison pics set for my profile pic I am not anywhere near done but am on my way
  • Actually the only reason I know what the limit is, is because I did research into the product at the gym. There are no signs or anything posted on the ball itself regarding the weight limits, so unless someone tells you or you do the research you would not have any clue as to what the weight limit would be
  • the people who work at the gym are not there when I am. This is a gym that is a 24 hour gym with limited staffing.....as a member you are given a key to go when you want. Frankly I don't think the owner cares other wise they would have put in equipment that is rated for gym use not home use
  • I did research into the other stability balls that they have in the gym and they are not even rated for gym usage and have a low weight limit. I don't think they are very concerned with their gym members if they were they would buy quality equipment not cheap or free stuff
  • I understand that a gym one would get more use but it also should be one that is made of a higher quality such as a professional grade one and one that doesn't burst but rather slowlly lets the air out edit: Should note that when I have seen them replace equipment I noticed that the tags on it show that they bought them at…
  • when you sign up for a gym membership you sign away liability to the owner so I don't think I would have a case
  • PCOS can be such a pain. I too have pcos and a hypothyroidism to boot....but since Sept 2012 I have lost over 60 pounds. It was a lot of hard work and finding what works Congrats on your weight loss I know how hard it is with PCOS
  • I don't know how to post pics in the form but if you look at my profile that is my pics for now after a weight loss of 60 pounds still have a long ways to go but for sure see a difference in my face
  • If it is not a fad diet than where are the clinical double blind trials to back it up............ that's right there are none Plain and simple it a meal replacement once you go off it, if you do not change how you were eating to begin with you will not maintain the weight loss. research shows that diets don't work and that…
  • well now or latly when he gets it in his head to start a new project before completing the one he is on I remind him that we are trying to get the house ready to sell and need to finish before moving on to something else so been a bit better but not much
  • yeah we have been doing reno on the last two homes we have lived in (including the one we are currently living in)j so it is has been 12 years of reno.........and slow reno at that hubby starts a project and jumps to another before we complete the one started. Drives me nuts
  • lol I know what you mean. But our projects need to be done. We are looking at trying to sell our house so that I can apply to ph d programs all across the us instead of being land locked. When we move we'll rent till after I'm done and have a ft position somewhere and than look for a home...........next home I swear is not…
  • yeah if you have a contractor do it....we are diy ....I've watched a number of those shows too. I sometimes wish house crashers would come to our house lol or yard crashers
  • no we actually have two bathrooms....the other bath is in the hall and is a soaker tub like while the master is a small tub(which is what needs to be replaced)
  • We are looking to sell our house so thus resale is a big factor in what we do.
  • I have an open food diary however I do not always choose the best of things but am usually well under my calorie limit
