I try to look for stuff that has USDA in the description. It usually means the information came from the USDA database, which usually also has a description on whether its raw or cooked, peeled, etc. And if I have doubts, I compare the nutritional information I find on MFP with that of the USDA web database. Then I just…

Im on here daily. Feel free to add me if youd like.

MFP could start up their own farm with all the manure they harvest in these threads.

Present! My profile is me at Multnomah in January when it was snowy up there.

Yeah, I feel a bit embarrassed when people point it out or ask what Ive been doing, etc. Its not that I dont want to share, because I do. Its more that Im kind of shy in person and Im also not used to attention. So used to being ignored and left to my own devices.

I lost 100lbs while on Medifast over the course of 8 months or so. Near the end I was increasing my calorie intake by snacking on stuff like nuts and whatnot. I didnt really follow the transition plan. Ive since put on 25lbs. However I did lose a LOT of muscle after doing Medifast. I was physically weak and couldnt…

Easiest thing to think about is that everyone else there is doing the same stuff you are. Theyre there to work out, fix themselves up and go home/work/back to life. I wouldnt sweat it. I hated the locker rooms back in school because it was all forced on you. Here, its just you and a few other people doing this at their…

Im always on every day! Feel free to add me. I lost 100lbs last year, been working on gaining strength and muscle again this year. Im planning on cutting again soon. My goal is to be around 200lbs or less than 20% bf. Whichever works out for me.

Lost 30 lbs in a bout a month and a half. Was losing about 10 lbs a week when I started. Mind you I was at least 320 lbs when I started. I may have been heavier, since I didnt weigh myself when I started. Although, I did it by making a huge lifestyle change. Started hiking every weekend, cut down my calories significantly…

Well not similar body shape, as Im a guy, but Im from Portland too! Also doing strength training. I worked on losing weight last year and have been working on gaining strength and muscle this year, but I plan on cutting again. Ive been packing on a lot of muscle, but some fat too, and there was still some fat from before…

For a while I weighed daily just to see how my weight fluctuates. Found it changes quite a bit on a daily basis, by quite a lot sometimes. Weekly weigh ins are nice, but thanks to the daily weigh ins, I can see why there may be weeks where it seems my weight is the same, then I suddenly get a huge spike, and then back…

I usually go pretty late. In fact, I just got home at midnight from lifting. I like it better, less meat heads to judge you, less hot girls to feel guilty about looking at.
-
Its just protein, as long as you still stay at your calorie goal for the day, it should be fine.

I thought I was on 4chan for a minute

Its not a glorified pedometer. It IS a pedometer. Im not sure what else youre expecting it to do?

Flip flops or any kind of sandals for that matter. So gross. Guys feet especially just look weird.

It really depends on how you intend to use them. With the FitBit pedometer, you can use it to get a better estimate of how many calories you burn in a day, so you can adjust the calories you eat every day. You an also find out if MFPs estimate is way too high or way too low for you. You can also use it to challenge…

Safeway's Lucerne brand of fat free Greek yogurt is pretty good. Get the plain stuff and just squirt in some Mio or other similar drink flavoring. Tastes just like fruit flavored yogurt. The Kroger brand of fat free Greek yogurt is pretty nice too. Theirs is vanilla flavored and sweetened with stevia though, but still…

toast it up with honey and make some granola!

I have a FitBit One. Its pretty nifty. You can use it to better gauge how many calories you burn in a day, so you dont over eat. Its not 100% accurate, since its just a pedometer.

Starting Strength for sure! In fact, the routine was suggested to me by several women and some men. Its a good routine to start with and get some basic strength going. But get a personal trainer to walk you through the exercises!

High sugar stuff. Cant have too much or else my heart rate goes crazy.

But lets face it though. If you're 18, and drinking beer, you probably just started drinking and haven't quite developed a palette of whats good beer and whats bad beer.

Keto is a lifestyle and dietary change, not any kind of pill or anything like that. Its Atkins basically. You wont yo-yo on it, but youll have to be commited to it for life. Otherwise, yeah you can yo-yo on it. But in the end, its not much different than watching what you eat on any other kind of dietary lifestyle change.
-
Probably just water weight + food weight. If you weigh yourself daily, youll see your weight fluxuate like crazy every day. In my case, I can gain as much as 10 lbs, and lose it in a week. The body works in strange ways.

Im still not used to carrying a phone around, even though Ive had one since 2007. For the longest time, I felt naked without my watch. Always wore one since I was a kid. Stopped around the time I got a phone. But for me, the real naked feeling comes at work, when I dont wear an apron. So used to wearing it, that when I…
