GTR is nice, but Id settle for an R34

You pretty much cant do anything to specifically attack that spot. But what you can do is reduce your overall body fat percentage as low as you can till it goes away. And pretty much the only way to do that is either reduce your calorie intake so youre running a deficit, or do a lot more cardio without increasing your…

You sound like me. I havent really gone on any dates, but Im worried once I do, that Ill just be completely clueless as to what to do next. I also still see myself as a 300lb+ guy, even though Im 100lbs smaller now. The whole dating thing is hard... I dont think I could ever do the online dating thing. Even though it seems…

Now I dont feel so bad. Im 30 and single. No kids or anything. I dont really want to be married or anything like that right now, but having a relationship would be nice.

One Thanksgiving, I got home late from work. My family had already had dinner and there wasnt anything left over. All we had in the fridge was mayonnaise and some bread. I was so hungry after having worked all day, I wound up making a bread sandwich.

I work with dough, so kneading it and punching it is a good stress reliever.

Being in ketosis kills your cravings. Not sure how or why it works, but it does. Try doing keto, its amazing.

Stevia! Or Splenda too. They sell them both in granulated form, so its just like putting some sugar in your tea.

Not sure how it works, or what it does. But if appetite suppression is your goal, honestly, youd be better off filling up on veggies. You can eat a ton of veggies and still not even go over 200 calories. I mean you could eat several cucumbers, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, bell peppers, etc. etc. and hardly put a…

I personally dont care for tattoos. I wouldnt get one. Aside from the difficulty of having to choose an image that will be on your body forever, you have to deal with an artist who may or may not be up to snuff to your quality expectations. And for me, as an artist, Im picky as to what artwork I like and dont like, and the…

Elliott Hulse. Definately sets a good goal to work towards.

Ive done it. 100 lost. I fluctuate up and down by a few pounds now, since Ive taken up strength training and changed my diet. I was on the Medifast diet for about 7 months. Did about 3 hours of uphill hiking every weekend. That was pretty much it. Spent a month or two trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my diet…

I bought a Sodastream machine the other day. Its pretty cool. It just carbonates water, then you add whatever flavor you want. Most of their syrups that they sell are sweetened with splenda. But you could make your own "soda syrups" out of fruit juice and what not. Just straight carbonated water tasted pretty good too. A…

Nissan Altima. So goood

Opinions on low carb, high protein/fat diets? Like 100g of carbs, lean body weight in protein, and the rest of your calorie needs taken care of by fat? I just started on this, but Im pretty nervous about it. Just so much fat sounds backwards. Im 5'11", 218 lbs, about 22% body fat. Been doing Starting Strength as well. So…

In the end, both are loaded with carbs. But theres really no such thing as one being "healthier" than the other. Just gotta make sure they fit into your carb/nutrient needs for the day.
-
Low carb + calorie deficit seems to work the best. Also strength training helps.
-
Im 5'11" as well. My goal kind of varies depending on how muscular I can get and how much body fat I can lose. Ive seen thinner guys of the same height get to 170. Im personally aiming for 190-200, again depending on how much muscle I can build up and fat I can lose.

Bananas Cottage cheese Chicken breast Avocado Tomato Onion Cilantro Lime Lettuce Yogurt thats pretty much what I buy consistently. I avoid grains, save for the occasional subway sandwich or something. I do like to buy some mixed nuts from time to time.

No girlfriend, no friends, works all done for the night. Not much to do, really.

I did low carb for a bit. It depends on what kind of diet youre doing though. Keto for example, works pretty well. The reasoning is that by eating less than 100 grams of carbs, your body goes into ketosis, which promotes fat loss (and muscle loss) which is why they have you eat so much protein. But yeah, the bulk of the…

From what Ive read, a heart rate monitor is meant for strenuous activity. So low stress stuff like walking dont track accurately on a heart rate monitor.
-
If youre going for low carb, just switch to high protein. Avoid fruit, bread, sweets, etc. Its actually not that hard once you get yourself in a groove. I managed it for about 8 months. Worked out great!

I stick to the same stuff, but its mostly because its my favorite stuff. I love bananas, yogurt, tomatoes, avocado, mushrooms. I mix my proteins up all the time, depending on prices, or what Im in the mood for. Beef, chicken, on a rare occasion pork, egg beaters, cheese, etc. If I get bored, Ill get some fast food. I still…

Thats a hell of a transformation!

I split my meals up into smaller chunks. So I eat like 250 cals or so at a time. Yogurt and a banana, cottage cheese and fruit, or apples and PB2, etc. It holds me down till I get to dinner, which I then have a normal sized meal.

Teach me the ways of your people!

The big problem for me, and a lot of other people is that these particular foods are trigger foods. They trigger appetites and urges for more foods which can completely destroy your macros. For me, its just better to not have them at all, than to try and have them in moderation. Like it says on a bag of Lays, "Bet you cant…

Looking good! What have you been doing to get to your goal?
