I believe I will give this a try - replace 2 meals. I will try shakeology for breakfast, Atkins shake for lunch since I do not have a blender at work and have a low carb dinner. Throw in a few snacks between meals such as almonds, hummus. I hope it works. Would like to do this from now until December 23rd.

Add me too. Turned 50 in January and I cannot seem to get handle on this. A number of issues with various hormones but I'm back on and trying to lose 30 lbs.

Thanks for all the tips. I am 5'3" and weigh 165. I will increase my net calories to 1400- 1500 to see if that helps, I admit I am afraid! lol. I have not always eaten my exercise calories back so, I'm netting less than 1200 on several days....

Not sure about the benefits available to you through your employer; however, if they offer EAP (Employee Assistance Provider) services, these counseling services are typically free of charge. Could be deeper issues that are causing the panics etc. Good luck to you and take care....

Joining the low carb lifestyle. I have been eating entirely too many carbs and the lack of weighloss shows. Day 1. I know that typically it takes the body 3 days to really adjust and that's when the body no longer craves sugar - - looking forward to that! Anyway, 1 week from now, I hope to report back weightloss success!
