  • I love my Vibram Bikila LS shoes, but for my starting of TF on Monday, I'll be using regular cushioned new balance shoes. I've come back from two stress reactions (shy of fractures) in each foot and hate for the jumping to cause more pain.... I say start with what you have on hand and if you don't like them, then see…

  • 3rd week of burn! I'm starting to wonder how many rounds I'm going to have to do to get rid of the flabby arms.....anyone have ideas? Lol. Loving it so far. I tend to enjoy my workouts at night before shower and bed. I'm not a wake up early and workout kind of girl.
  • I'm super excited! I need to figure out how to take some decent before photos (finally got a workout bra that fit) Hooray!. I'll try and do it between my dresser and bed for now. May have to adjust the direction when I have to get into laying down chest fly's or whatever. lol. :D Poor UPS man had one hell of a time…
  • Slightly active is working out up to 3 times a day. Redo it with moderately active.... And then subtract 15-20%
  • I work at a call center and would love to try and incorporate more small healthy snacks that don't require a fridges or heating up....are nuts and seeds still the best suggestion or any other ideas?
  • So sad Amazon went up $50 again... boooooooo
  • Amazon if you use their store card you get 6m interest free.... Comes to about $50 a month.... That's where I'm going to do mine at.
  • Thanks y'all. I figure if after I complete what all I can do- I could always just restart the burn phase after the first round so I could get the full workout.... think so?
  • I run and I love it. Currently on a hiatus while I'm recovering from a stress fracture of my left foot.. bummer. Never thought I'd enjoy running but I do. Hate that my method of stress relief is currently taken away from me. lol
  • ^^^ all day long.... and you forgot the best part.... budget friendly!
  • So calculators say my TDEE is normally around 2582. My average daily calories burned from my bodymedia is 2672. So that's pretty close. I like seeing that if i go just a little bit longer or walk just a bit more.... so and so forth, I can get closer to my goal calorie deficit. I like it a lot. You are right in regards to…
  • Food doesn't make you fit. Exercise does. Food makes you a bit healthier. So if we are still talking food.... drink lots of water, cut out as much sugar as you can and add more fruits and veggies.
  • Right now you're looking at a 28-29% deduction from your TDEE with 1620.

  • It really made me laugh as well. To be honest, I think it's hard to be a bit serious about this because the title of the post seems so dramatized. Okay- so your thighs touch- most women have the same thing happening to them. I don't recall a time when mine didn't touch. If you feel you have reached your goal for your…
  • Take each day as it comes. It's not something that's always going to happen overnight. Since you know you struggled with breakfast today, why not plan out tomorrow's breakfast so you don't run into that trap again?
  • I dislike plain water as well. The way I drink 64-120oz a day is through adding one crystal light to my 32oz water bottle. Gives it enough flavor to help me chug it down throughout the day. One I really like is their "energy" brand called Wild Strawberry.
  • Yes. I think because it assumes you'll be eating more calories the more you workout... at least that's my guess.... Any update on the best way to export this sucker?
  • Wow....just wow. :)
  • I eat between 1600 and 1800 a day. Slowly trying to figure out what works best for me. eating at BMR which helps me not be cranky and always hungry like my original 1300 cal MFP suggested. I log everyday though you won't likely see my excessive as I log that through my BMF.
  • 25- public diary and I log everyday.
  • I actually was told about this the other day but had no clue what it is... but now I do. :D How much do you drink and how often?
  • I don't wear heels. All my shoes are very flat. Think converse for normal wear, flipflops (if I'm going out of the house), I'm barefoot in and around the house or no heeled mary janes 2 days a week. So I am going really slow. I didn't just decide to suddenly start running in these. I've walked.... and walked and walked. So…
  • I actually went to get fitted for running shoes the other day after I had been doing my c25k training in Vibrams. The running store did the whole nonsense and then basically couldn't suggest a better shoe for me as I'm a neutral runner and have the right form. I was kind of looking for another shoe that had just a little…
  • It typically has been directly behind but the last time I did a walk and very short jog the pain wrapped around and almost started to feel like a shin splint plus calf cramp. The thing that throws me is that I have gotten no Charlie horses at night so at least i can be thankful for that. I have started taking a magnesium…
  • Question I know some people hate that by the time you get this, you've lost weight so it's not a true "this is how much I've lost so far" total.... do you think it'd be okay to trick the system by putting your original start weight in and then the next day, put your new weight in?
  • Yep. Push firmly on the right side of the actual unit and it will pop out. Think of it as popping a lens out of sunglasses (yeah... I used to do that a lot). I just got mine today as well and am letting it charge. Question though..... I know some people hate that by the time you get this, you've lost weight so it's not a…
