Hello! Short person here haha. I avoided peak hours last time too. When I went swimming I always went early in the morning lol. A workout playlist would definitely help. There are classes at my gym too and I'm planning on starting with Yoga and eventually joining some others there! I feel better knowing I'm in a group…

That sounds like something I would do considering I was just going to youtube how to's haha. And yep for me, it's always the first step that I find the hardest. I'm hoping it becomes second nature to me and I can feel comfortable working out there. And yes that's very important! When I ask someone there, I will make sure…

Wow, that would have been so much help at my gym. There is a Planet Fitness down the street but I have my membership at LA Fitness. That's really good that Planet Fitness does that!

Thank you! I will be sure to look at the diagrams if there are any. I'm very clumsy and short so I want to be extra careful this time haha. The people at my gym seem friendly too, so I will ask them if I go tomorrow.

That is true. They gave me a tour of the gym areas last time, but not the equipment. I will make sure they give me a tour of them specifically this time. I am scared of the equipment so I definitely won't be touching anything I don't know how to use yet, but I will definitely ask! Thank you

I'm 5'0 looking to lose 21 lbs. Feel free to add me! c:

Confidence and just looking and feeling great! Was at the lowest weight I could every remember a year ago but gained some back. I felt healthy and fit. Trying to get back there!

I've actually had these balls under my arms for a long time, but never thought of it. There's quite a bit bunched up under each arm. If I push into the fat in my arms, I can feel about 5-10 on my thumb (they're that tiny)

Ontario here! Feel free to add me!

Same here.. I actually had a bad binge a while ago and started saving calories for the evening. I know late night eating is bad, but it's something I can't help especially when family tea time comes around (and yes, it's a thing in my culture LOL). I always save some calories for a small snack with my tea. Nothing big of…

Very similar goals! I'm 5' too and am trying to lose 22lbs to reach exactly 118lbs as my first goal, and eventually 111lbs! I'm definitely ready (and currently in the process) to look and more importantly feel great for the summer :D Wish you luck!!

That's true I've read about that too. I will make sure I don't eat back all the calories burned.

Thank you for the advice! That link gave me a 1584 calorie goal with 20% calorie reduction selected. I weighed myself this morning after keeping between 1100-1400 and lost 1.8lbs in a week. I might stick with 1200-1500 from now since I don't mean to lose too aggressively. I was also scared I was starving myself with my…

1270 calories with a 1.5 pound/week weight goal, and 1520 with 1.0 pound/week. I'm not in a rush to lose the weight, but if I can lose 2 a week I'd prefer it so I can feel better faster (the weight causes difficulties with basic daily tasks because of my hips). I'm thinking that if I eat the calories I am now I might be…

Thank you so much. I will do that!

Thank you! A couple years ago I lost at 1200 too but was not as active as I am today so I was worried, but I will monitor my loss and adjust accordingly

At my heaviest I had hip pain (I was born with dislocated hips and was operated on to correct them when I was younger), and would always get cramps in my abdomen from the lack of exercise/cardio. I lost 10lbs at first, and barely noticed the pain anymore as it disappeared, after another 15lbs, I never got the pain in my…

Hey all! Would love some motivating friends as well. Been a member since 2011 but started again almost 2 months ago. Doing things different this time around! Don't hesitate to add me!

Oh me too trust me! I literally had to force myself to try a workout (my problem is always the first step) and after that workout I enjoy them every time I do. Not sure if it makes sense but take that first (or next) step and try it out and try other types of course too! You never know, you may like it.

I actually had a VERY similar experience about 5 years ago when I started working out in my basement (I was 17). My parents told a guy who was over that I started exercising and when I walked upstairs to greet him, he teased me about it to the point where I had to stop completely out of embarrassment. Please don't let that…

Also vertically challenged here. I'd be happy to make some more friends!

Hi there welcome back! I am actually going through the same thing. Was at my lowest weight last year and gained about 60% of it back. Feel free to add me!

Hi there! I'm 22 years old and just graduated college in Accounting. I'm trying to lose 15-20lbs. I lost 25lbs and was 120lbs (my lowest weight) about a year and half ago. I gained 16lbs back and it doesn't seem like much, but this weight takes a huge toll on my body. Trying to lose it again. Feel free to add me everyone!
-
Me too! Gained a good chunk of weight that I worked so hard to get rid of. Slowly getting back into the routine now. We're very lucky we can start over. If you did it before you can definitely do it again! Good luck!

Me too! Except it's not chocolates or snacks.. I go for really fatty oily foods.. I don't have to be stressed though. If I'm bored enough, I'll find anything as an excuse and immediately regret it :( I also use food as a reward. Bad day, good day, productive day, you name it lol. Feel free to add me!

Same! Sorta. I'm 4'11 and weigh 136lbs. I actually made it to 120lbs June 2014 but gained 16lbs in the past year to get where I'm at now. I'm trying to get to at least 115lbs. If I could lose more it would be awesome! I have a figure I'm trying to achieve plus I have hips that were operated on as a child so I don't want to…
