  • I drink a protein shake most mornings....I have a terrible time eating breakfast anyways, and this is a great way for me to get some nutrition in. You always need protein. Are you not working out now? If you're not, I don't understand why you would wait till you are at goal. You'll get to goal faster working out.
  • She looks absolutely perfect to me.
  • I agree! 10 days later and such a difference!
  • I do zumba 3 days a week! I take classes...don't have the dvd's or any zumba game. Sometimes I do zumba with youtube...just for something different. Feel free to add me!
  • I found her to be bitter as well....wasn't sure if it was the mood I was in yesterday when I read it, but you're right.
  • I love coffee! I also love water.
  • I always have the same thing...scoop of protein powder, handful or two of spinach, enough mango to make it yummy. I can't not eat, I get light headed, but I can't eat actual food...the shake is perfect for me.
  • I usually gain 2-4 pounds - all water. Last week I couldn't zip up my biggest pants, and the weight on the scale was just 2 pounds heavier, so you can imagine the bloat. I once was up 7 pounds! I also had the biggest salt craving the night before...I'm sure that was a huge part of it.
  • Looks like you've got it all covered...just wanted to add that baby is beautiful!
  • Mine are 15 3/4" right now....I'm 5'8", 207 pounds. I know they used to be much smaller because I have a pair of boots that I can't zip up! That seems so sad to me! LOL
  • I feel depressed after reading that. I lost 65 pounds and regained it all. I feel more positive about keeping it off this time though...maybe I'm naive? I'm not following a VLCD, I'm working out, eating back some of my calories...I'm trying to change my life. I'm emailing that to a friend. Thanks for the link.
  • I am super tired today! I went to Bikram after a 2 week break and thought it was going to be so tough but it was actually one of my best classes ever. And after that I had to work, drive in blowing snow and ice, and I'm just beat now. I still have to do my 30Day Shred. Its kind of hard to do when you're doing other…
  • I took a few courses years ago in fitness theory and one of the teachers hate the elliptical because it wasn't a functional exercise - doing it often wasn't going to get you better an anything other than elliptical; won't make you a faster runner, a better skiier, etc.... I think the elliptical is there for one reason...to…
  • For the bust it should be around the fullest part. I also do the ribcage (where the bra band sits).
  • Love it! Do one for me :)
  • Too cool! I can hear the Mission Impossible theme going in the background ;)
  • I had one 7 years ago, and don't regret it. I would not have one until done having kids though, it would be a waste of money. My scar runs hip to hip but you can't see it unless I'm naked, I have some numb spots still, probably always will, its weird, sometimes I get an itch that I can't scratch and it drives me crazy. My…
  • Its really hard to measure yourself....I have calipers and each time I take a measurement, I get a different result, yet when I do my husband, its the same.
  • Day 2 level 1 DONE!~ Better today since I wasn't already tired from a workout.
  • OMG I'm such a wimp, complaining about my 3 lb weights! It was easier this morning though, since I didn't do another workout right before... Day 2 level 1....my last day should be Dec 22 if I do it everyday (and I should, its only 20 minutes) and then I figure I'll take a week off from doing it everyday and maybe try…
  • I went ahead and ordered the rumble roller...but in blue, because my husband is going to use it too (he is a bit of a baby) and I want it primarily for my teres major...I hope I didn't make a mistake, seems like everyone here is raving about the black.
  • What size weights did you all start with? I was using 3 lbs today which was okay for the shoulder press and bicep curls but they felt very heavy doing the lunge and front raise....
  • I can do those walking out planks, just not the pushup part. I hate pushups! I hurt my shoulder years ago and haven't been able to do them since....not that I consistently worked on it or anything....
  • I've never heard of these before but I think I need one! Anyone have a youtube link they could share so I know how to use it??? ETA...I found one on the rumble roller, for myofascial release, which I currently attempt to do with a tennis ball for my extremely tight teres major....and to think I thought this thread would be…
  • I will be 46 next week, and my periods just started coming every two weeks. The one I am having one is weird, its not normal at all, and I haven't read enough on this stage of life to know what's supposed to happen. I've struggled with my weight on and off throughout my life...my dad died when I was 9 and I gained alot of…
  • You look amazing! I haven't read the story of your spinal cord injury yet, but I will....I just wanted to say WELL DONE before I got distracted :)
  • I have watched level 2....I think it will be okay. Those walking plank-pushups are interesting...I do yoga so I'm good with walking out to a plank but I cannot do a pushup like that! I try though, I try. I get annoyed when she says "buddy".
  • I second the Harry Potter series. I bought them to read to my kids, the first 2 books anyways, and I got so hooked. By the time Prisoner of Azkaban came out I was at the store at midnight, and read the book by 9am...stayed up all night. I miss the Potterverse....I wish there were more.
  • I dont' find it to be too tough so far...today was hard because I did it after zumba. I'm somewhat fit though. I can't do pushups, I can barely do the modified ones, so today I did them against the wall. Stick with it! I wondering though....anyone mix it up? Like do Level 1 one day and level 2 the next?
  • I'm doing weight watchers....I signed up a few months back for 6 months so right now I'm counting points and calories on here. The points make it seem easy but I don't want to be calculating those forever so I joined here a while back but didn't actually start logging my food until I got my fitbit.
