I started it this morning! I was chatting with a friend about her own butt woes, decided to have a look at my own and it wasn't pretty. I had my son take some pics this morning (he was extremely disturbed by this request by complied!) and can't wait to see improvement.

I'm a Bikram devotee and my fave quote of all time is: “You’re never too old, never too bad, never too late and never too sick to start from the scratch once again.” So the short answer is....as many times as you need. I feel like I start from scratch every day.

Maybe you just need to take another day off from working out. Don't know how hard you are working but for me, at my age (46), I can't work out 5-6 days a week. I do every other day or 2 days on, 1 day off. I blame peri-menopause for that. Are you eating enough?

I took a learn to run class. Turned out I was trying to run too fast. I learned to breathe thru my nose, oxygen hits the blood stream faster that way. I second the good shoes comment!

A heavy weight is one where you fatigue after 6 reps. I did body pump and tore my rotator cuff doing clean and press...lots of momentum going on there. If you want to build muscle, you need to lift heavy. You don't need to do 25 reps....you want strength, not endurance.

Its lower on the glycemic index. I used it for a bit but after doing some reading, found out that its just as processed as white sugar. I like sugar in the raw. I gave up sugar in my coffee back in January but sometimes at Starbucks will put a packet of the raw in because the coffee is so much stronger than I make at home…

I can't handle a cheat day. It turns into a cheat week most of the time. I think a cheat meal or a cheat snack....that I can handle a little better. I use it to up my protein intake as well as meal replacement....I tend not to eat in the morning but I will drink a shake. I have a shake after my weight workout as well.

I do the same thing most mornings...2 cups spinach, about 1 cup water, 1 cup frozen fruit (usually mango), 1 scoop of vanilla protein power...if I remember I add chia or ground flax seeds. Blend, drink.
