  • During the week, I log the whole day after breakfast. On the weekend, I log as I eat it.
  • I went from 36DDD to a 36D in just the last 20 pounds. I realize that shirts fit better now, but my proportions with my super wide hips aren't as flattering. However, I think I'm beginning to accept my body changes in all ways as I finish this journey. I'm just trying to be the best me, even if my 36D gets smaller...though…
  • What a pain. My fiance is 5'4"...in shoes. He talks quite a bit about how unfair it is. Boo on the calculator!!!
  • Love my Polar FT7. I actually don't know the difference between the FT4 and the FT7, but I always see recommendations for both.
  • Your post sounded like s setup for an advertisement for 5-hour energy "for when you have that 2:30 feeling". I have some cottage cheese and an apple around that time. It perks me right up.
  • I also eat it almost daily. It goes on whole wheat toast every morning for breakfast. :)
  • Wow, that is amazing progress for a month. Your stomach has changed so much! Congratulations!
  • What?!? That is insane! You are absolutely amazing. Great job.
  • Drinking more water means your body does not have to hold on to as much. It will also change the electrolyte balance in your body. You can lose water weight by drinking lots of water the day before (though I have heard others say it bloats them up). Once you resume a normal water consumption, your body adjusts back to its…

  • I've lost 65 pounds over about 2 years. I still have another 20-25 to go, but so far I haven't experienced an issues with noticeable loose skin. I'm hoping it will stay that way, but I swear I check my stomach regularly for any new signs. I still think if it starts getting really loose, then at least I'll know I've lost…
  • At 5'5", my waist is between 29.5" and 30.5" depending on the time of day. My weight falls below my navel and especially in my butt and thighs.
  • You are roughly the same weight as the average adult in Finland. You're lighter than the average adult in 26 countries. You're heavier than the average adult in 151 countries. It's certainly an improvement from where I started!
  • I'm 5'5", and I eat about 1400 calories daily at 159 lbs. I have been stuck at 163 or so for months, but I feel like the scale is moving again finally. I usually eat back 20% of my exercise calories and have a day a week that I eat 1700 calories to change things up. I started my journey at 225 lbs.
  • This thread is awesome! I may actually get up the courage to post my own when I get home this evening. Great job, you are all looking lovely!
  • I'm 5'5", and I want to get down to maybe 135, if my body will let me! I've been at 160-165 for the last 9 months. Part of it was a plateau, and part of it was just getting a bit sloppy. I'm happy to have kept off more than 60 pounds. My starting weight in July 2010 was 225. It's a long road to healthy!
  • I'm already starting off terribly...I missed Day 1. I ended up working late and getting stuck in traffic. Fail... I'm prepared to get it done this afternoon, though. I'm looking forward to a new workout!

  • WW only changed to the "free" fruits and (non-starchy) veggies to encourage participants to make healthier choices. In the old system, an apple was the same point cost as some mini snickers bars. Which did people choose? They changed it and built into the system extra calories unaccounted for in the points specifically for…
  • I drink it. I don't apologize for it. I like the taste. It's a choice here. I don't think soda is the reason for my plateau, as I've managed to lose 60+ pounds without changing my diet soda intake. I try not to drink more than two a day, but I've given up most sweets and chips with dip and smoking so diet coke is the last…

  • Age: 29 CW: 160.9 Natural Waist - 30 Navel - 33.5 Upper Hips - 39.25 Natural Hips aka BOOTY - 42.75 RT Thigh - 25.25 RT Calf - 15.25 I lost a total of 8.9 inches doing Ripped in 30. A whopping 1.25 inches came off my butt, and my thighs got no smaller. Here's to KBT working my pear shape into something more manageable!
  • I got jumpstarted from a horrifying picture at my future sister-in-law's wedding. I looked terrible, and I was DEFINITELY the fat friend there. On an even more shallow note, my ex-husband just married a 100-pound teenager and I need to feel better about myself...which means feeling sexy. That, and my future brother-in-law…
  • I'll post mine on Saturday, since that's when I'm finishing up RI30. Just a few more days, and then I get to switch out the torture!
  • Ok, first time doing Week 4, and WOW! It was hard to complete, but the kind of challenging where I felt I will get better. I feel good about the effort! Five more days to complete, and then it's on to the next JM video. I don't think I have enough coordination or height to do those scissor kicks.
  • I said that, too! I thought it was much better. Today will be day 1 of week 4 for me!!!
  • I just wanted to say I know how you feel. I've been working to lose weight for almost two years, and I haven't lost a pound since Christmas (had lost ~ 62 before that). Now my weight just bounces around the same 3 pounds or so. I've upped my calories, reduced them, increased cardio, took a diet break, and just started…
  • This happened to me after the first week of Ripped in 30. I snuck a peak at my waist measurement, since I felt bloated. It had increased. I'm almost through week 3, and it has started to go down...more than an inch below my start point so far. Give it time.
  • As long as it uses a chest strap, then you're good to go. The pulse rate monitors are not nearly as good.
  • I also have a Polar FT7 and love it. I bought mine at ****'s Sporting Goods because I didn't want to wait on shipping.
  • Me too! Yesterday was my day 3, week 3 and I was pushing myself harder and my arms and quads were SCREAMING. I did about 30 minutes of walking and stretching afterward, so only a few muscles are mad at me this morning. I peeked at my waist measurement this morning, and I think it's getting smaller!!! It seems that week 3…
  • Yay! I have bad knees too (had surgery on one in 2006), so I've been doing modified duck walks in week 3 of RI30. :ohwell: I can't wait to finish it next week and start KBT! I really like JM. Her style just works for me. Of course, I've only done this one video. I'm finally starting to see a minor bulge in my bicep, which…
  • Me! I was planning to do it anyway, and I'm finishing up RI30 on June 9. One day of rest, and then it's on to the next. I also bought 6W6P, so that might be something I do after killer buns and thighs. My pear shape is becoming MORE pronounced right now.
