Not really, instead of seeing me 3 times a year he will only see me once a year. Thats money out of his pocket lol. No, really he is happy for me. He is the one who told me my health was bleak if I didnt change my ways.

I think exercise is what helps alot with diabetes. I walk about 10-12 miles a week. My A1C was around 7 and now its at 5.4. Ask you doctor about an exercise routine.

I followed mfp guide tried to keep calories within a couple hundred of my goal. Workouts are 2-4 miles on treadmill every other day and various excersiseson the other days.

Thank you, excercise plays a big role, the more you excercise the more calories you burn. some of those extra calories then can be used to eat a little more during the day so you dont feel like your starving yourself. A couple suggestions would be to eat your big meals earlier in the day and drink a big glass or 2 of water…
