If you are on a cut protein is good to help you retain muscle because some people find it difficult to get enough protein when they are cutting and whey can help. It is as relevant to weight loss as any other food is.

do 50 push ups in between each appetizer you eat. Or just don't sweat it and get back to your routine on Friday
-
Try to look at the menu online and gather nutritional info prior to going. If you can't just try to make what you think is a good choice for your goals. Common sense goes a long way in this regard.
-
lol nope, you are wrong
-
If it is such an issue, don't go to restaurants or if you do, make it a rare occurrence that it makes no difference on your weight loss.

need your goals first and current stats
-
It may not be "easy" but not many worth achieving are.
-
You said weight loss is not easy. I disagree, weight loss is a simple formula that any reasonable person with the slightest bit of motivation should be able to achieve. Just my opinion
-
IMO it is a cop out for the folks that love to make excuses as to why they are unable to lose weight the natural way.
-
same to you.

Not everyone on here is fat or has ever been fat, including myself, there are other purposes for MFP in addition to being a weight loss website. That said, finding vegetables or water "challenging" who cares? Not everything is going to be easy but it is well worth the small sacrifice to just eat the damn veggies and drink…
-
Just don't overeat, and if you do at least be mindful of what you are eating.
-
Get thicker skin. Her post was spot on, there is no reason adults should refuse to eat vegetables or drink water because they are "boring." Sometimes as adults you do things you don't always want to do because it can benefit in ways other than tasting good.
-
If you're on a cut, and it appears you are, eat your veggies. They help with satiety cuz they are calorie sparse.

I think the biggest factor of weight gain among Americans is that fact that so many people have zero idea about portion control and have zero idea about nutritional content of what they are eating, and many of them are clueless as to how to lose weight (half assing it for 20 minutes on the eliptical doesn't burn 1000…

If you are under your calorie allotment, it's not a cheat. On a side note, calling meals "cheat meals" is dumb IMO, if you go over your goal, just make up for it the next day or days if it can't be made up in a single day.

boost metabolism? Sounds like BS.

I took Cellucor Extreme C4 for pre-workout 2 scoops before each lifting session. It didn't really do much, so now I just drink black coffee which helps just as much if not more. The C4 did taste great tho.
-
Lifting while fasted works great for me I wouldn't have any other way. Maybe take some pre-workout before or drink black coffee.
-
Personally I'd forget the cardio, and do weights.
-
VERY dangerous? no It's a 1500 deficit a day for 23 days. Not ideal, but definitely doable
-
Definitely can be done depending on your weight although you will most likely get called out by people for even suggesting it.
-
no

OK man, calm down. I have never been obese like you so maybe I don't understand the desire to stuff my face like a glutton.

Respectfully, I disagree. There is a thread on here having a contest to see how many calories they can eat on Thanksgiving. My friends and family are the same way, just until you can't move and have to take a nap. How is that not overeating?
-
You don't have to overeat to enjoy a holiday, also Thanksgiving food is very "meh" in my opinion, so fortunately it's never been much of a problem for me.
