Planet Fitness sucks and is not going to give you the results you need if you are looking to start lifting. Look into body weight exercises.

it helps, but if you strength train you should lift heavy and do compound lifts. Tossing around a couple of 5lb dumb bells isn't going to do anything.

Almonds may be "healthy" but they have a hell of a lot of calories, tread lightly if trying to lose weight.

it's meant to supplement lack of protein in your diet you need to meet your goals.

Alcohol has calories no way to get around it. Your best bet is avoid mixers that have cals. Vodka/water is good or just try bourbon/whiskey neat and learn to like it.

lol - sounds like you just pulled that out of your *kitten*. OP - Yes start lifting, and lifting heavy. Do the compound lifts mixed in with isolation exercises.

I am 6'1 180 and I cut on 1600-1700, it's fine just make sure you get your protein. Some folks on here tend be a bit over dramatic about this stuff. If it works for you, keep doing it.
