Have you considered intermittent fasting? I have a lot of friends who have seen great results from that. Might fit well with your active/sedentary days schedule.

Whatever you get, put half (or 2/3) of it in a to-go box before you start eating. Their portions are huge!

1c greek yogurt + 1/2 c granola -high protein -approximately 300 calories -fills you up and keeps you full -easy to eat (just grab a spoon)
