I visited DH tonight. We had a good visit and he is tucked in bed. A young women came in to help him get in bed. She’s a high school girl who is considering a nursing career. DH & I were both impressed with her. I suspect she will make good choices and do well. ⭐️

Pip— You are excellent at caring for your dogs. It is clear how well you take care of them. Sorry that Lucy was bleeding during the walk. Long ago we put flexible leather booties on our dog when we went out for walks. DH made them. Schooner was comfortable with them on long walks. I miss him. ❤️

It is a sunny morning here in Illinois. There is still snow in shady places that I can see from my windows. I’m hoping to go shopping with our daughter in the next day or so. I have a shopping list ready to go. 🤞🏻 ⭐️ 🤞🏻

Re: Immodium— I don’t have any at home now. I plan to buy a new supply tomorrow. I will be replenishing several other items, too, including Vitamin D3. I think of D3 as the sunshine vitamin. 🌞 It is a mood lifter for me.

January is nearly done. My calendar says I have one more day of January, and then February 1st will be here. I’m looking forward to shopping with our daughter on February 1st, on Wednesday. I am looking forward to February, only a few days away. Today I will spend time with DH, and get some indoor exercise. :smile:

It is 6:52 in Illinois and there is snow on the ground. I’m happy to look at it from my windows and have no desire to walk outside in it. 😊

I agree that social contact is important, and there is lots of optimism for all of us. This group of women is remarkable. Many longtime friends are still here, and new friends are welcomed. ❤️

Barbara & Barbie—I have a beloved rain jacket, too, from Columbia Sportswear. I’ve had it for a long time. I hope you find just what you need. ⭐️ I use a quilted vest inside if weather is cold.
