Annie— I am sorry that Covid has made a difficult time for so many of us. Vaccinated vs Not Vaccinated is worrisome. I have had multiple vaccinations and so has DH. Unfortunately he has been in situations where he was exposed to covid in hospital settings. He is doing much better now but I still worry. 😳

I tucked DH a few minutes ago. He was tired. I hope he gets a good night’s sleep. It seems very early to me, but he is tucked in and happy to rest.

It is snowing and I am happy to watch it fall while I am warm & cozy inside.

DH is in a nursing facility working to improve his health. Today was okay. We spent time together watching his favorite Westerns —Gunsmoke, was the show we watched this evening. ❤️ 💕 💖

It is snowing here in Illinois. DH is sleeping in his recliner. I think I’ll drop some window shades and let him enjoy his rest.

After breakfast I went to see DH in his room. He was tired and not feeling well. I’ll check in on him in a while. I worry about him, and wish I could be more helpful.

I spent time with DH today and had dinner with friends, several who are retired teachers, like me. 😊

It has been snowing here today in Illinois. Looking out of my window I can see snow falling but the grass is still green & the driveway is wet. So far the snow isn’t sticking.

Spent time with our daughter & grandchildren. We watched Jr High basketball. Our granddaughter is a cheerleader. I enjoyed watching. We also went shopping. After dinner I spent the evening with DH. ❤️

I had a good day. I spent time with DH & he is tucked into bed for the night. Earlier, I went shopping at Walmart with our daughter and her older son. It went well enough. I’m happy to be back to my place. Katla

I bought compression socks for DH. For now I am keeping them to wash. I’ve been advised to talk with the nurses who have been working with him. He has complained that his compression socks have disappeared. I stopped into the nurses station but wasn’t able to chat with any of the nurses. They’re very busy. I’ll stop by…

DLFK—I like green beans but not dry beans. It has been this way since I was a young child. Beef, pork, poultry or fish are accompanied by green beans &/or brown rice in my kitchen. Everyone has their own preferences. 😊

Looking forward to tomorrow. I’m planning to do some shopping with our daughter. I have a list, but not too many items. 😊

I got my laptop down from the shelf. It hasn’t been used for a couple of years. I plan to ask DH if he is interested in getting it going but won’t be unhappy if he declines. So far it opens, but I don’t have anything other than that. If DH declines I may ask my son to try to get it going. It is a vintage apple laptop.…

I checked in on DH a bit ago. He is sleeping and needs the rest. I’ll check on him again about dinner time. I hope that he rests well & is able to join his friends at dinner. I look forward to watching old westerns on TV with him later in the evening. ❤️
