Happy New Year! I hope for DH to improve his health and return home soon. DD and I visited him at the hospital yesterday. I hope to see him again today, if possible, and talk on the phone if that is the best we can manage. 🤞🏻 ❤️

Thank you for your kindness for the situation of DH. My daughter will be taking me to the hospital today. Hopefully the hospital is helping him breathe better. I can hardly wait to see him.

DH went to the hospital late last evening via ambulance. Our daughter will take me to the hospital to see him. I hope he is doing well.

11:06 am —-DH is sleeping, I’m thinking of sleeping, too. Headache today. I’ve taken tylenol, I think the nap is calling.

Our sweet old dog, Schooner, passed away more than a year ago. We still miss him, and his picture is my “face” here. We’re juggling heath issues for DH, and they come first. When he is better we will look for a puppy. 🐩 or 🦮 or . . .

I checked on DH this morning. He has been sleeping when I’ve peeked in to his room to see how he’s doing. I peeked in again a few minutes ago. It is now 1:40 this afternoon. I’m beginning to worry so I’ll touch bases with his nurse. 🌸

Today there is snow on the ground that I can see out my window. Down the road I see the American Flag blowing in the wind. There is a farm house to my right and a highway in the distance. I think this is a very nice day. DH was sleeping earlier and I will go to his room for a visit. ❤️

DH and I are in Illinois, and have not seen a hummingbird since we came here. I miss them. My friends in Oregon are filling the hummingbird feeders we have attached to our windows. They’re caring for our hummingbirds for us. I miss the hummingbirds and our good friends. ❤️

It is definitely cold & windy here in our part of Illinois. I am hearing tiny hail pellets on my windows. I’m happy that we saw our daughter earlier today and even happier to know she is safe at home, now. ❤️

Our daughter stopped in to bring us treats this morning. What an unexpected visit! ❤️ She left treats for us & has gone home to her family. She and her family are warm and safe, and so are we. ⭐️
