  • I am doing a freebie 30 day squat challenge from Google Play and Runtastic's squat workout. Runtastic has fewer, i just count those towards my number that i do for the challenge. Sadly, gotta use the handicapped restroom so i'll have a handrail so i can pee. :'( *sigh* I'm on day 3 of the 30 day challenge and hope i can…

  • Ditto...i guess i use the term loosely as well. My BPC recipe isnt pure anyway, regardless of the added protein.
  • I do the Isopure Dutch Chocolate in my BPC every morning. Fat+protein and stay full until lunch. The chocolate isnt 0 carb but it's 1 or 2.
  • So much no on the Quest bars. I bought a box last week (I had a little traveling to do and wanted them for my purse) and ate the whole box in 2-3 days. Then I wobbled horribly eating foods I would normally be able to pass up. I know better than to get them. I dont have self control with them or after either.
  • mine is open to friends, feel free to add me.
  • I emailed Ruby Tuesdays to ask why their steaks had carbs. I got some vague answer referring to their seasonings. A small sirloin has 4 carbs....FOUR! That's a lot for seasonings. All of their steaks have carbs. Blah.
  • I dont know where you are but it's spring here in NC which means shorts and t-shirts one day and jackets the next....maybe all in the same day. Just the temp variations changing the state. Coconut oil is fine either as a solid or a liquid.
  • I love G Hughs Hickory. I found it at my WalMart and Amazon carries it.
  • I eat pre-portioned packs of almonds and pecans, sometimes macadamias too. I have huge issues with portion control and limit nuts severely. I measure nut butters to the gram.
  • 0-20 too. Lately those have been total carbs. I've found when I try to do net carbs I 1) cant stay in ketosis, and 2) way overeat crap foods with artificial sweeteners. I wont say never to a Quest bar or such but I am trying to stay away from them.
  • boneless, skinless flash-frozen chicken breasts.....take one or two out, douse with favorite oil, sprinkle favorite spices, throw in oven for 20+ minutes. Same for pork chops or salmon.
  • Ruby Tuesday's petite sirloin is 4 carbs....on their website, all their steaks have carbs. I asked the waitress if they were brined in something but she said no, just seasoned salt and steak butter. Hmmmmm. I just sent corporate an email to ask why.
  • I love, love the Oberto Bacon Jerky. It travels very easily in an airline carry on bag or purse for when you dont have time to eat.
  • This isnt my recipe but I dont remember to whom to give the credit. It was listed as a low carb honey mustard substitute but it tastes like a yum yum sauce and I love it on about anything. It's similar to Dragonwolf's link. I don't measure this so these are guesstimates. 1 cup mayo (I use Duke's) large squirt yellow…
  • I'm watching and lurking. I'm still on the fence with all the work that went into planting our garden...lol. Shoulda grown pigs and a cows instead. :)
  • another one: http://www.lowcarblayla.blogspot.com/
  • http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=526332 I had the bread pudding in #6....only intended to eat half. Ate it all. And it was good.
  • I have my calories set at 1500 and I eat back what my Garmin Vivofit gives me per day and I usually go over.....lol. And I am still losing. Some days I am hungrier and some days not so much. I am trying to listen to my body. (not always successful)
  • I tried zero carbs yesterday/today. It's really hard as everything seems to have at least trace carbs. I feel good but miss veggies. Keep us posted on your success.
  • Where are you from? It's raging pollen and thunderstorm season here. That affects me, especially changes in the weather.
  • What she said. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  • I am plain old keto. Almost always below 20 net but damn sugar alcohols keep me higher than 20 total. Evil creatures. I am also sometimes wishy-washy keto. I'd like to be carnivore keto but I like veggies and quest bars and protein powder too much.
  • Hi. I am a long time low carber and mostly a lurker on forums. I'm 46, hysterectomy. I walk almost every day but no other formal exercise. I really want to lift weights but I am always an excuse away from it. I always keep carbs low but wobble between LCHF and OKL macros. Not that it matters much to me...I am not a hit the…
  • I do something similar: 4Tbs of HWC and 10g dark cocoa powder ---whip those two Add 30 mL flavored syrup of your choice (salted caramel is good) (optional) OR almond mild to thin it out if needed. 1 serving cream cheese (optional) 1 serving peanut butter (optional) 1 serving cacao nibs (optional) chopped berry (optional)…
  • I cook 2-4 times a week and eat leftovers the rest of the time. Today was a Carolina BBQ rubbed baked pork tenderloin with broccoli cooked in bacon grease. The tenderloin was a medium sized one that hubby, daughter and I have eaten on for about 3 days.
  • Keep it simple: a protein (beef, pork, chicken, fish, seafood, eggs, etc) with fat (olive oil, butter, ghee, coconut oil, avocado oil, etc) and add in a low carb veggie if desired (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, etc). Some things are both (fatty steak is protein and fat. avocado is a good fat and a veggie, really it's a…
