  • I am a event-induced, emotional binger. I hate it. I dont typically binge for food cravings but for emotional comfort. Eating strictly and avoiding some situations help me.

  • I love pork tendoin. It's super cheap at Sam's here lately. About $1.69/lb or so last I checked. Very versatile. I can make a dry rub and throw on grill, can throw in oven, can throw in crock pot, can give it spicy or mild flavor, can do Asain-y, Mexican spicy, BBQ pulled pork. So many options.

  • I have three flowers and some scroll work on my foot which pretty much covers the whole top of the foot. Stab a fork in your foot. Now drag it across while pressing down. Repeat for 1-3 hours. That's what it felt like. I have tats on each shoulder and one on my calf. This one was by far the worst.
  • Check this out. They are keto and work out. Lots of good advice and experience. http://ketogains.com/2015/08/welcome-2/
  • Any team members are welcome to add me...and kick me in the butt to remember to post.
  • Thanks y'all. I cooked one at lunch and it was a little tough but I overcooked some. The dinner ones were medium rare and a lot better. Marinated in Dale's Steak seasoning and they were SALTY but good.
  • Hi all, I'm T. I lost about 35 lbs a year ago but due to some work stress and subsequent lay off I emotionally ate my way back to where I started. I have about 80 lbs to lose and I look forward to stretching and getting some limberness back. I want to concentrate on fat loss and muscle gain. Good luck to all. T~
  • I don't know about your case but on my food diary things don't add up properly quite regularly. I think almost all of mine is due to MFP rounding (and not doing it very well).
  • Ditto on the used to have heartburn. I had it almost every night and would end up sitting up so i didnt have that awful burning in my stomach and throat. It's rare that I have an episode since LC.
  • I wouldnt even go for a book. Print or type her a list of acceptable protein, fats, veggies. Pick one or two from each list type thing. Something simple like below. http://www.atkins.com/how-it-works/atkins-20/phase-1/low-carb-foods
  • Agreed. For me, one bite leads to two which leads to the whole box which leads to a binge.
  • Just this once...... You have to reward yourself... All things in moderation... (if I knew friggin' moderation I wouldn't be fat)
  • Pretty much all this. lol Bold is mine as the last party I went to, I went a little foolish on the eating thing.
  • My whole carb-o-holic family loves this one. I cook bread for them to go with it. http://lowcarblayla.blogspot.com/2012/07/chicken-cordon-bleu-casserole.html
  • http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/helenbacks_cheeseburger_pie.html I love this one. I did a mushroom Swiss bacon cheeseburger and a sharp cheddar bacon cheeseburger version of this. So good. Pretty easy.
  • Magnesium citrate and a probiotic. I take magnesium citrate tablets as I hate the taste of the liquid. Start slowly, 1-200mg tablet per day and then work up as needed. Stay near a bathroom.
  • There are two hugely successful LCHF people that I follow. What I've noticed about them is 1) LCHF, obviously 2) 1200-1300 calories per day, pretty consistently and 3) they tend to eat the same simple things over and over. While I am not as strict as they are, I tend to cook larger meals and eat leftovers for several days.
