  • Awesome!! Thank you for this reminder. I have been on a plateau for almost 6 months now, scale goes up and down like a yo yo. Recently I upped my workouts and really looked at my nutrition and adjusted accordingly, since then the scale seems to be going up. However I feel stronger, clothes are fitting better and I feel…
  • Amazing job!! That's awesome thanks for sharing and congrats!!
  • Edmonton, AB here as well
  • Awesome challenge!! I have needed to step up with them anyways now I have no excuses lol.
  • You are not crazy. I can workout in the gym no problem because I know that everyone is working out and who cares if they see me. At home my boyfriend will want to sit on the chair and watch, I told him he could either go downstairs and play wow, or if he wants to watch he has to join me with doing the dvd.
  • I was at the gym, doing intervals on the treadmill. I wanted to impress my trainer and show her that I was doing the homework she assigned me and that I have even increased the speed on the treadmill. I was proud of myself and ego definitely got in the way, I put the treadmill to 6.5 and started sprinting my trainer came…
  • When I met my trainer for the first time I expected to lose a lot of weight in a minimal amount of time, I had "Biggest loser" expectations. First week with my trainer and not eating the healthiest (at the time I thought I was) I lost 10lbs and 19 inches. It took me a full year to lose 20lbs with a trainer. I realized that…
  • That's horrible!! Thanks for sharing it is so angry, frustrating and sad that this continues to happen. I am glad your mother figured it out.
  • If it is something that you use on a regular basis it will be in the "most used" section or in the "recent" section of your food diary. You can put it into your recipes or my meals or my foods and then it will always be there =)
  • Can you describe the pain? is it all over, how does it feel muscular as in just from working out so much? or does it feel more like a joint issue? I know if you are in the States it costs money to see a Dr. but I would suggest either seeing a Dr, Physio or an Athletic therapist or perhaps have someone work out with you and…

  • This morning (we have a small gym 2 treadmills) two people were using the treadmills but one kept stopping it to grab a drink on the fountain, then hopped back on then off, then on, then off again, then she answered her phone, then off again to stretch but still had her music on the treadmill. Normally I am not distracted…
  • I would suggest going to the restaurants online nutrition menu and decide that way. I find both places are loaded with sodium, but you can make a decision on what you want from that. Keep in mind if it is in creamy sauce the higher the sodium and fat. Last time I went to Red lobster I ended up consuming over 4000mg of…
  • 25 min if you include the warm up.
  • I have the 305 and my HRM works but it isn't accurate in the calories burn department. Apparently(from my understanding) it is geared more for runners and outdoor activities. The calories burned are more based on distance then on HR, maybe it is the same for your 310.
  • I"m 5'1 and I find for myself that doing both is the most effective way. I have a few days where I just do Strength a couple days of just Cardio (treadmill and Elliptical if I'm at the gym) as well as a couple days doing Cardio for a half hour after a 45-60min strength training session with my trainer. If I just do one or…
  • Squat twists sound intense but I look forward to adding them into the routine lol.. THanks for the challenges.
  • Boo this deal is only available in the States lol. That's too bad for me.
  • 10 days per level. Most do level 1 for 10 then move to 2 and lastly the 3rd. The first time I tried 30DS I got sick of Lvl 1 after day 7 and then quit. This time around I am alternating between lvl 1,2 and 3 for all 30 days to keep me interested. Hope that helps.
  • I have 2 of his dvd's, The beginner one and Pure burn super strength. I though for some reason his beginner one would be easy, easier than JM's 30DS, but surprisingly it kicked my butt in a good way. I haven't checked the pure burn one out yet, kinda scared to after his beginner one lol. I do enjoy the 45 min workout and…
  • I would personally just buy normal food and eat smaller portions. I found it hard at first until I decided to take one day and cook meals, made 5x the normal pancake recipe added protein and froze them into serving sizes, made big batches of soup, lasagna cupcakes etc. With MFP's recipe adder it helped me figure out how…
  • The fact that you are getting up, walking past your car and walking to and from work is awesome. He/she said it had to be at least 30min walk, if it is 12min to and from you are only 6min away from that goal. I think they should acknowledge the fact that you are making an effort to walking and healthier choices. Pat…
  • Yeah pop chips are pretty good. I also found cheecha puffs made with potato they are kind of like the popcorn twists but wiht potato. Really good and 2cups is only 80 cals. Pop chips I like the salt and pepper one, I believe the other flavors have flavor and msg as two ingredients. I try to only get the salt and pepper…
  • Sounds great looking forward to this challenge=)
  • Old Navy, Wal-Mart, and Ebay, Zellers for the cheapest but sometimes Additionelle has some good deals
  • I believe it is 8, 8 ounce glasses which would be 64 in total.
  • For the powder I usually make protein pancakes with it. With hemp hearts I add it to my greek yogurt which provides a great taste and texture. I make protein pancakes 2 ways (depending on time, sometimes I only have 15min to make breakfast) First one is making normal pancakes and adding it to the mix, sometimes I add…
  • I've increased my calories as suggested in the book, and I am hoping to start this on Sunday. I will be looking over the book again the next few days to decide if I can do this at home or if I should just "suck it up princess" and go to the gym that I do have a membership too. It has just been so long and I don't want to…
  • My SW on MFP this time last year was 198, my weight this year is 198. Throughout the year I have fluctuated from 188-199 and for some reason my body will not let the scale move. Frustrating beyond belief!!!! I have lost inches and with MFP I have been able to go from thinking that I was eating healthy to eating healthy…
  • Hey everyone!! I bought this book as a Christmas gift for myself and I want to start it pretty quick here. I'm wondering if it is possible to do this at home or at a gym that has minimal equipment. I have a World Health membership but with the January fit craze I was hoping to avoid it until maybe stage 2 and when I'm a…
  • Can't wait to start but scared crapless at the same time lol.
