What's working for me is 1. Weighing All my food. 2. Logging all my food. 3. Weight training and jogging. 4. Not denying myself stuff I love i.e chocolate and gin. 4. Never going hungry.I am losing very slowly about a pound a week.

ultimately i would like to fix this. I think it stems from an old snowboarding knee injury. I think i started to pronate my left leg to minimise the pain in it. I had a quick look round the interwebs last night and I read such conflicting things about running barefoot or with supports. I got the general vibe that if you're…

if you eat the genuine Thai food in the same size portions that the Thais eat you'll be fine. the food is amazing but the touristy food is different. eat in restaurants or street stalls where plenty of locals are eating. i didnt see a single overweight thai person when i traveled there

Couldn't disagree with this more. I've failed every other time I've tried to change my habits around because I used to let myself get hungry, then I'd feel awful and end up giving up.I eat several small meals and snacks a day, not getting overly hungry is definitely why I'm succeeding this time. Sounds like you would need…

oops sorry i was unclear, it has a chest strap but the watch that picks it up doesn't have any features, just a stopwatch and the heart rate, nothing else.

i have very similar stats to you 5'5 started around 170. I did loose at 1200 a day but i felt like ****e so I upped it a bit, which i kept doing gradually until i actually did the bmr maths and realised i was eating way to little. since i upped it again (at least 1600 plus most of my exercise cals) the weight has been…

oh i don't think I could handle a reality in which I couldn't buy codine over the counter. a swim in a freezing cold ocean does it. so does a gin and tonic and that is less cold and wet.
