I cut up an apple and add some pumpkin pie spice - cook in microwave for 2 minutes then stir in 1/2c of plain greek yogurt. Yum!

MFP has me at 1200 Calories per day. I have around 15lbs to lose. I tried last year with 1200 calories and I was miserable and starving which lead to binging at night. I am a nighttime snacker so I always save calories for after dinner snacking. I wouldn't be able to stay on track if I didn't save the calories for the evening.

I eat plain lower fat greek yogurt because of the protein and most flavored yogurts are sweetened with artifical sweetners and I don't like the taste of it in the yogurt. I usually mix frozen mango into my greek yogurt to sweeten it up!

I didn't see it but I have been trying to cut down on the sugar I eat. I still eat fruit I just want to cut out some of the junk foods I eat. I am very weak when it comes to sweets! I love my diet coke but am trying to cut back on it as well, it is probably the only thing I eat or drink that uses artifical sweeteners.

I just used my HRM for the first time last night for level 1 of the 30 day shred. I am pretty close to the same height and weight as you and I burned 197 calories.

Thanks for all the replies! I guess I wasn't expecting ground turkey to have such a strong flavor. I did the shred back in July and lost about 4lbs and a few inches, unfortunately I have put that weight back on, haven't been exercing and have been eating like crap! I would like to start the shred again on the 17th (I am hoping to get my husband interested as well!). Count me in for the 17th!

If I buy the single serve greek yogurt I have to pay $1.69 each! (I am in Canada) and this is for the store brand. I usually buy the 500ml tub for $3.99 (again the store brand) and portion it into a little rubbermaid container each day. Saves a lot of money! It rarely goes on sale here.
