I got mine before they got termed 'tramp stamp', and I love it. It's beautiful, it didn't hurt, it didn't change with my body, through weight gains/losses or pregnancy. I don't have to look at it every day, so it never gets old, and I can always hide it if I want to... Just my two cents :smokin:

I have one on my lower back, it barely hurt except across my spine. In general I think it hurts less when you're working on meaty areas versus bony areas. I've seen a lot of tattoos on dark skin, and in general I'd say stick to black, colors don't seem to turn out very well. As far as picking your tattoo artist, I'd look…

I feel 'naked' if I forget to put on my wedding band and earring before leaving the house. I usually play with my jewelry absent mindedly during the day, and it's a shock when I reach up to twirl and earring and there's nothing there...lol

**nerd alert** This debate/cultural shift in ideal of beauty tan vs light skinned goes back thousands of years. There are records from the roman empire during the time of Caligula. The upper class standard of beauty was light skin (they did milk baths and such to maintain). Then the emperor exiled one of his sisters and…

I haven't run in two weeks, I haven't tracked in three weeks. I haven't gone crazy or anything, just kept on keeping on. And somehow in that time frame I lost the final 2 lbs I've been struggling with for four months and made it to goal. I'm guessing I lost muscle?? Anyway, hard to be happy with the achievement knowing I…

Good lord yes! I met his brother in person... not nearly as impressive

Actually I love a beefcake, but hubby wouldn't like me posting picks of him on the interwebthing, so this will have to do:

Agree, with PP's option three is the best format. Also make sure you have one or two people besides yourself proofread your CV for errors. Since you're applying to be an AA, any little typo/grammar error could be the difference between them putting your CV in the interview pile or throwing it in the trash. Good Luck!!

Sometimes the amount of 'notice' is situational as well as confidence. I got a lot of notice when I was 17/18, because I lost some weight, and was very confident and projected it. I stayed that way in college, and IMO was pretty good looking and had plenty of confidence, but I spent 5 years between undergrad and grad…

Got a text from my husband saying he wants to have a date night tonight <3

you know, it may be one of the classier locations. Before it got classified as the 'tramp stamp', it was an ideal location for a little self expression through body art. You can go out to a black tie event and no one need ever know you have a tattoo, or if you feel like showing it off, low cut jeans or a bikini can help…

I'm a 30 yr old working mom and wife. I've managed to lose 54 lbs over the last year and a half. Feel free to add me, I give lots of support :)

If weight is involved in the breakup, there are really deeper issues. I learned this the hard way. My ex husband was very mean to me about my weight. I gained 7-10 lbs when we were married, but at my top weight during our marriage, I was maybe 135 and still very attractive. It was his issue. In no way shape or form has any…

I thought I was going to see some man candy (which would have been welcome!) but I snorted the water I was sipping up my nose instead. Thanks for the morning giggle (and clearing my sinuses briefly...)

I was in a wedding party a few years back. I'd never met one of the other bridesmaids until we had to start doing bridesmaidy type events and outings. She was very obnoxious in a variety of ways, but she definitely had a health snobbery streak. In an effort to not cause any trouble, as much as she annoyed me, I tried to…

Nothing to add except that I'm jealous! Enjoy your trip! Let us know how it turns out!

Why wouldn't I, seems like something a teenager would want to do? I'm 30, the majority of my FB activity is posting pictures of my kid. Besides I make a habit of only posting things that I don't want to hide from anyone, seeing as it is a public place (despite the 'privacy' settings)

I think that would definitely make things easier!

If she won it in the divorce, he needs to spend that money he would give to her to help her out of the hole to get a lawyer to rectify his name on that loan and potentially correct his poor credit due to this situation. The only time I would say it would be a good idea, if his kids are living under that roof. And even then…

Because by a certain age, women have learned (many times the hard way), that no matter how innocent or platonic they think an outing with the opposite sex may be, it almost invariably does lead to things it shouldn't. So the better choice since she is married and would probably like to stay that way, is to avoid all…
