Added you all!! I appreciate you taking the time to read my lengthy post and I'm glad it served its purpose

This could not be any more false. ^ You typically want 1 gram per pound body weight, but since you're just starting out, aim for your goal weight -- in this case, 135g. As you get leaner, you will need more.

Adding anyone and everyone to keep myself accountable as well as motivate and inspire you to get started or keep going :)

Thanks for all the love! I'll probably be adding you all haha. And yes, my last name is pronounced like "win". The "ng" at the beginning is the same as the "ng" ending you find in other words, but unless you have a native tongue, it's pretty difficult to enunciate ????

Likewise! Feel free to add me

Your body recognizes food as energy sources. It doesn't dictate anything as "good" or "bad". With regards to simple and complex carbohydrates... complex carbohydrates are nutrient-dense and will often have fiber, thus they are more satiating (physiologically). But as we all know, there is a psychological hunger that exists…

Consistency is key! One off-day won't hurt you, just like one day in a calorie deficit won't get you where you want to be.. Looking for friends to keep myself in check and accountable; offering support and motivation in return :) add me!

Yes it can happen! All you need is a little patience, consistency, and determination. Fall in love with the process and the results will follow!

22 and in college as well :) If I can do it, you can! Add me!

You do get used to it! I used to be in your shoes. It takes time. Nowadays a gallon is the bare minimum for me. I easily finish it on leg days and often times, my quads and hamstrings still cramp up afterwards so drinking more is a must for me

Contrary to popular belief, meal timing is irrelevant. Calories consumed at 11pm are the same as those consumed at 8am. Meal frequency is also irrelevant. Take your standard 2000 calorie diet. If you do the typical 5 meal approach, each meal would be 400 calories. On the other hand, if you eat 2 meals a day, each would be…

Weight gain is simply calories in versus calories out. This is the law of thermodynamics. Consume more energy than your body expends for any prolonged period of time and you have weight gain. And vice versa.

Not getting enough water will result in water retention--your body will cling onto the already available water you have inside as a defense mechanism since it doesn't know when it'll get any more again. A good way to tell whether you're getting adequate amounts is by the color of your urine. Clear is good. I drink 1.5 to 2…
