i would consider re-calculating calorie allowance... 1200 is pretty low. i eat average 1800 and im losing at 81kg... its slow but its a loss... and mine is without working out just calorie counting... i still eat ice-cream and a biscuit :D
-
i only drink once every 3-6 months.. partly due to calories and partly due to not wanting to drink... when i do drink i dont worry about calories, figure one day out of 3-6 months isn't going to change much

you can't ignore other days,.. you will over eat on those days and undo all your hard work!
-
start walking and build up to a run :D
-
Thanks everyone... and to the 7min jogger... keep it up :D you will get there xx
-
it takes some time to set up initially... getting all your foods into your database... but after that is done you only need to search if you eat something new. I tend to keep my foods similar all the time (sounds boring but i have a varied diet so its good) so i log in in the afternoons, check how i went that day and plan…

you look awesome... i just want to lose 10kg (22lb) and i'm struggling to control processed foods... particularly chocolate and ice-cream... its like i shouldn't have to give them up, but there is sometimes 200-300 calories i could save if i didn't eat that crap!!!
-
the gym manager should be available to show you how to lift... otherwise i found watching what others do and always keeping my core engaged helpful :D... if there is a chick with a nice butt, a butt that i want.... i watch her exercises and next time i go to the gym i copy

I'm a 27yr old 5"10 female (174cm).... I weigh approx 180lb (81kg)... i work out most days... I do cardio and strength (as per my job requirements)... I eat 1800-2000 calories a day (some days 2200) and I have been losing consistently... I would starve on 1500-1600 as I need the calories for energy and recovery!
-
i thought the -500 meant that you body burns 500 calories a day BFing... and you would eat those back???
-
Day 1 yes.... but then im all good, and its not LAZY, its just lack of ambition because I just want to die! My biggest problem is the week before when I get mad TOM carb munchies, I cant control it, it is terrible, I eat so much I put on like 2-3kg in a week (5-7lb) and then within the week of my period it all just melts…
-
When I drink I must drink a "crap ton" of vodka too.... and I mix with soda water and fresh lime :D serious note.... that much vokda, on an empty stomach will result in you eating OVER your ANNUAL calorie allowance on chips and crap while you are eating.... the vodka takes control of your brain and your hands will find…

yup, I can see a difference (I went to your profile too). I suggest cranking out a tape measure... I have weeks where the scales go up, yet the numbers on the tape measure get smaller.... this was I know I'm still doing the right things :D and stops me from giving up
-
water, tea, coffee, milk, protein shake... same things i drink all day
-
swimming is something I would LOVE to add... but just isn't gonna happen right now.. wish I had a pool at home sometimes
-
when i was on a low-carb i found eating in the pm only VERY effective for controlling the binge... but low carb wasn't sustainable when i started working full-time, and lunch breaks don't fit with my diet choice and i had to change (school teacher so set lunch breaks)
-
Friday... but signing up to weighttrend as we speak :)
-
I use mine in conjunction.. I don't eat back all my exercise calories because its impossible for me... I'm not sure if the formula is correct but I have been losing small amounts
-
I really wanted to wave the "I'm not a Dr flag".... and add my 10 cents... Have you conducted a pregnancy test?
-
weight loss is non-linear... be prepared for small gains some weeks despite putting in your best efforts... this is where measuring becomes your best friends :D
-
i sent off an army application... i blitzed the aptitude test and looking down the barrel of Duntroon (Australia's equivalent of West Point).... nothing else in the past has motivated me as much as this opportunity!
-
i have cut soft drinks, but i never was a big soft drink drinker anyway... I find water can get boring so I have milk daily, I love my plain milk, and I drink both cow milk and almond milk
-
im interested in this post too... I'm a chick (obviously by my photo) and I exercise both cardio and strength on alternate days plus rest... but most days I will have 500-600 calorie deficits... I even mixed ice-cream into my protein shake tonight to up my calories!!! Wondering what the long term harm is with this size…
-
if you are eating breads and pastas you will hit your 1400 calorie goal quickly and you ill be hungry... you need protein as well :D
-
I put in an army application and started training to pass the basic fitness test. I have found that wanting to do it just wasn't enough and I needed to have an external motivation (more than just a wedding)... since I put in my application I have sat my aptitude test and smashed it... I have received an additional boost…

i prefer almond milk with protein shake, it tastes better! and it sits better in my stomach... Will try to add more nuts and stuff and maybe ice-cream, but I dont think I could control myself

yeh 250 over once is nothing... if you were 2500 over then you have blown it and could be upset with yourself!!! give yourself a break, you have done well!
