  • Aletadiana, if you want a really great article about steady state/interval training, look here: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/stead-state-versus-intervals-finally-a-conclusion.html There are at least 4 more articles on that side, addressing this topic. They are well worth reading. Oh well - EVERYTHING on that…
  • I went back to setting my lifestyle to sedentary and eating back my exercise calories. If I don't exercise, MPF gives me 1250kcal to eat per day. If I do... well, I usually get to app. 1600. Which is okay - but days like today (low calorie burn) or sundays are a killer. ;)
  • Yes, it was. I really like this one. Always liked Yoga!
  • No. The only intense part of the Fit Test lasts 8 minutes. The rest is stretch, breaks and a normal warm up.
  • if your kid is eating pasta, tomato sauce is probably accepted, right? Enrich the sauce by adding other vegetables to it - zucchini, broccoli, peppers, carrots - you name it - and make sure you puree those veggies so that the sauce is nice and thick. Tomato will dominate the taste of other veggies anyway. One of my fave…
  • I wondered where you were, Chasero. Amazing job. Amazing! So glad you managed to catch up with us!
  • Aletadiana - taking it a little bit easier sounds like a good idea. Take good care of your ankle!
  • "Sex and the city" theme.
  • Great job, pink cheek! I completed my workout - sadly, my form wasn't the best. Probably because of working out on a carpet instead a mat during the weekend, my shins were killing me yesterday and today. Recovery day - I'm ready for you.
  • I know what it's like. Hospital is my second home, too ;) I'm enjoying my baby-break now. Congratulations on motivating yourself. You are my inspiration for today - I feel like going to bed right now - it's raining and I'm so sleepy - but I'll change and do the workout NOW.
  • I have to say if this group wasn't here I probably would not have completed today's workout. It is almost midnight now and I really had to force myself to start working out. But I did it. Knowing that you all pushed yourselves helped me immensely. I am getting stronger, no doubt about it, but I still have to take a break…
  • Chasero, I agree about leaving it as it is. Redoing this exercise alone would mean better performance not only because of non-sweaty arms but also because of your higher energy level. Which is fine but could mean little or no progress on your Fit Test 3. But just look at your improvement esp. in power jumps! Wow! Rosie -…
  • But today we're only supposed to be doing the Test - Plyo is tomorrow I believe... Congrats on your results! Great improvement!
  • I looked at them and I am speechless. You ROCK!
  • I was glad, too! Fit test completed - I cannot believe it, but I got better in everything! Woohoo! Pink Cheek - I looked at your results - AWESOME. In some exercises you doubled or tripled your numbers. Wow!
  • This thread is so positive! I love that everyone is noticing results!
  • I am so thrilled. 3 different family members who haven't seen me for a month or so told me I'm "disappearing". I didn't need any better motivator to start exercising today! Anokte, I thought exactly the same thing today. 2 weeks! I was so afraid that Insanity will be too much for me and I won't be able to complete it. So…
  • Pure Cardio/Cardio abs completed. Yay! I actually enjoyed those exercises. Probably because I was able to sit or be in the plank position instead of running and jumping all the time! I am visiting my family abroad and I only took my spors bra with me and nothing else. What can I say. I do not exactly recommend doing…
  • Well, I had my rest day yesterday. Those drinks and 2h sleep killed me. Congratulations to you! I am going through this torture today! Chasero - great job. I intend to complete p90x after Insanity, so I am happy to hear about your experiences :)
  • Well it's 4 o'clock in the morning and i just got home. No idea how I'll survive pure cardio and abs tomorrow... or today, rather.
  • Cardio Power and Resistance completed, after all!! Yay, I'm so happy! It was a good day for me today. Lots of energy, I'm enthusiasic now! My thighs hurt slightly after those pulsing lunges and squats yesterday but I didn't care. Woohoo!
  • Look at her results: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/981096-jillian-michaels-body-revolution-results-w-pic
  • I use circuit training.
  • Oh, what a pity it didn't calculate burned calories, Chasero, I would be interested if you burned more than during logging it as "yoga". I went for a bicycle ride tonight - around the lake and in the fields. I have MFP's blessing to eat a big dinner now.
  • Ouch. Those squat pulses and lunge pulses. Ouch, ouch. Other than that, what an awesome and welcome break from plyo and pure cardio.
  • I work out barefoot as well, on a mat. That's how I like it. Sounds like it was a tough day for most of us. Congratulations on keeping on everyone!!
  • Plyo completed. I felt so tense today. Especially my calves. Didn't feel as motivated as usual. But I THINK I took less breaks than during the 1st and 2nd time. I'm looking so much forward to the Recovery Day tomorrow.
  • This one!!! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/07/asian-glazed-drumsticks.html
  • What Jillian herself recommends is: shred - shred - cardio - shred - shred - cardio - rest day.
