Feel free to add. I post most days and am honest about what I ate. Anyone else can feel free to add me too.

Thanks for the encouragement!! And I do I want to clarify that I do log it all! What I meant was the moment of truth was rather then log consuming an entire bag of embarrassing binge food and then have to share it here, I snapped out of it, decided I didn't actually want the junk, bought my ear plugs (real reason for trip…

I'm taller then you, but I'm also back. Again. With a large number of pounds to lose. Feel free to add me as a friend. And anyone else can add me as a friend too - I'm renewing my weight loss efforts and would love the friends on the journey. Thanks Lauren

I'm giving you a standing ovation! Why? Not only because you walked away from the cake and not also because you walked through hell, but because the incredible awareness you looked in the face today! That is success!

I have IBS-D, acid reflux and no gallbladder. Add to that binge eating disorder, and you can probably guess how the cycle goes :( it just seems like every time I try to eat healthy, it pisses off my digestive crap and then I feel like a failure and eat my emotions. Rinse, lather, repeat. So I'm using MFP to be brutally…

Mix plain yogurt with Dijon mustard. Coat fish. Mix breadcrumbs with paprika. Coat the yogurt covered fish. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Yummmmmm!

I'm 5' 6.5" and 228. My goal is a fit, strong body that I maintain with intuitive eating, whatever that number turns out to be (lower or higher then my # goal, which is 175). In my past that was a size 10-12 with muscles from sports. My current size goal is high end of normal (xl or l) because I dont want to have to shop…

Perogis!!! :) I grew up in North Royalton, but now live in Colorado. Welcome!

I've been in therapy for two years and also did a 1/2 year intensive out patient program for eating disorders. I am still seeing my therapist, who was involved in the IOP. It's been a great and critical experience. It's also been hell and I'm finally working through my underlying *kitten*. That means my behaviors are worse…

I really hope this works out to be the case for me. I've always had reflux, but its been pretty severe with poor diet and weight gain. Here's to hoping I can improve things! I've been doing research on reflux diets but t gets depressing. I wish I could figure out what bothers me, but "it depends." Some days water causes…

Because I'm worth it. And because there are healthier ways to deal with my problems.

I've done a lot of therapy on my journey to healing, but have never done this. It seems like a valuable tool. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent idea! I've struggled with binge eating for years and know intuitively this is great advice! Yesterday I had a bad bad food day, yet I woke up laced up my shoes and got out the door. I finished my whole workout and felt better emotinally even if the workout was a little rougher then usual. But I'm having another…

The whole "do what works for you?" Huh? :) Maybe I'll do the MFP with exercise calories. Why? Because I like to input my exercise and that affects my calories. And I like when I just glance and say okay, this is how many calories I have left...

Thank you soooooooo much for the warm welcome everyone!! It make a girl feel good. :) I did note something embarrassing when I retread my OP and realized I said "I have over 50 pounds to eat!!!" Opps, that was one hell of a typo, huh??? Thanks for realizing I meant loose.... Lol

1. Proper shoes 2. Your pace! Not other people's (you may need to slow down) 3. Repeat weeks or even go back to an earlier week. At 230 pds the first time doing c25k I had to do week 2 for a couple of week before the shin splints stopped and then I could move on. 4. You can do it! :)

Bake most of way, remove, top with honey, mustard and salsa. Cook for 2-3 more minutes. Yummy! Also great on salmon.

This is a great thread for those of us on here just starting out. A good reminder to stick with MFP and skip the tapeworm phase altogether! ;)
