I know several people who turn into witches if they don't get their sugar fix!

Love it!

Really depends on what is comfortable for you. I don't run a lot, and I've found that my Saucony Kinvaras are a good general workout shoe for me. Comfortable when running or when doing a general workout. Hit a good store where they will help you out for fit, check stride and so forth.

You should find a good amount of PA people on here....and there are several Pittsburgh area people like myself
-
I have a rather diverse group of friends on here, so feel free - from the "average joe" type, to runners and lifters...we all have one thing in common - bettering ourselves!

This. I think most people think it will only be places like McDonalds, Subway etc, when in reality most restaurants heavily salt the food, at least in the US.

Good first show - same here.....I miss Zappa....one of the most talented musicians ever....

I love my Saucony Kinvara's and they usually run me around $100. Most comfortable workout / running shoe I found after Puma discontinued the one I used a few years ago.

Those who complete have done better than those who don't and those who don't still do better than those who never got their butt off the couch. Means nothing to me if someone doesn't go through it all. Guess because I have knee issues and it took me over 14 hours to complete the Rachel Carson Challenge last year, it…

Millions and millions possibly....and millions and millions defending.....

Some people need a high five......in the face.......with a chair......

Just my opinion, while you might burn more calories that way, if you really hit the cardio hard, seems like you would tire the muscles ahead of time and not be able to lift as much or properly. Most of the trainers I've seen will have someone do light cardio to loosen up, then do any lifting....

most likely hunting for food.....

well my wife will keep it simple at times, but when she plans on going somewhere, she has to do some makeup and so forth, while I'm like "just throw something on and let's go!" In the long run, it doesn't really matter, I just grew up in the country basically so my preference is for the simpler...guess going to school in…

Not all guys...my preference is the women who keep it simple.....of course, I didn't marry that way, but still I tell my wife to not worry about it....

I'm a guy, so no, unless I haven't noticed, so I doubt it....

Probably referencing their Creole or Cajun coating...I'll use that myself...I generally pan fry cod like the reference above....

Not here yet, but go and find the clean eating threads, and in the ones I have seen, it becomes "Well, we're eating clean, so we're better than all of you who don't eat clean" Again, nothing wrong with wanting to avoid processed food and so forth, just shouldn't be said that it is the only way to lose weight and to try and…

saw this, filled out the thing for the coupon, then found it in the store and it is around $5 a bottle so I'll pass.....

It is bashed because people come in an criticize everything and everyone who is not clean eating. Nothing wrong with it if you want to avoid things, but people shouldn't praise it as the only way to go. A calorie deficit is what allows people to lose weight.

having photographed shoots in the past, relax, pay attention and have fun. The most important part is relaxing and enjoying it. If you are nervous or tense, it will show.

I have to agree with you on our chocolate for the most part. Most our of chocolate is overly sweetened. There is some good stuff, but not as nice as what you get overseas for the most part.

now I wonder what deep fried lettuce might taste like....do we get to batter it first?
-
looks pretty tasty - is there a link to the recipe?

I've always done this and it seems to work pretty well - eggs in pot, cover with water, add a pinch or two of baking soda...bring to a boil for one minute, then turn off heat and cover for 10, spoon out of pot and into a bowl of ice water for a few minutes. This is definitely one of those situations where there are…

I believe it also has to do with the weight distribution and control. With a dumbbell, everything is nicely centered around the handle. With the kettlebell, you have a different distribution, which can be harder to control.
