Welcome~ I was bullied since I was very young about my weight. As I got into my adult years, it became a prejudice against me. It hurts, I know. I'm so sorry you have to go through that. I'll be happy to add you. I'm a year into my journey an have already lost 85 pounds, but I started with 225 pounds to lose. I still have…

It works. I have been using this app since 2013. I have done two major diets using this app, the first time I lost 65 pounds but gained it all back and then some. This time I've lost 85 pounds and I'm still losing. It's not a diet - it's a lifestyle change. Remember that. If you need motivation, feel free to add me as a…

Hi, I'm 28 and 320 pounds... can I join?

Yes. I walk every day now because of Pokemon Go. Yesterday me and a friend walked five miles downtown playing Pokemon Go. I'm hoping that if I do it every day, it will get me back into shape. :) Was trying to find a Pokemon Go group on here for support... anyone know of one?

I have PCOS, along with a laundry list of other health issues. I have lost weight successfully in the past. It is a struggle, though. My doctor put me on Metformin, but I was taken off after a few months because it was causing my kidneys to fail. Ask your doctor about Topamax. I am currently on it and it curbs my appetite…

Sounds good! I'll have to try it for my breakfast tomorrow!

I drank some Pepsi Max last night with dinner and it didn't make me eat any more than I usually eat. I usually drink Coke Zero and that doesn't make me "hungrier" either. Sounds to me just like more myths, I think. :P

I started with 170 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me and good luck regardless :)

It took me about 15-20 pounds and I'm 5'10". Though a lot of people didn't even think I was the weight I was because I hold my weight well.

Wow! You're such an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your story and congratulations!

I think I had a series of moments. But none so profound as the one that finally kicked me into gear. I always knew I was fat and out of shape. I always knew it was bad for me. But my thought was "I'm young, I've got time". During my training for my job, I had to take a course. And one of the subjects was obesity-related…

I've been cutting down on salt for about a year and a half now due to medical problems. You'll lose your taste for it, trust me. As for salad dressing: mix a tablespoon of olive oil with a tablespoon of balsamic vinaigrette. It's great :)

I started at a 30/32 and I'm almost at a 24. :) It's such an empowering and awesome feeling!

Thanks so much for all the positive feedback guys. As for what I do... I eat 1500 calories and keep my goals for carbs and protein at both 45% of my daily calories and fat 10%. I work out five times a week for half an hour. I do strength training and run on the elliptical and use the stationary bike. Sometimes I play Just…

Thank you everyone. It means a lot to me. It was a very big and hard step to take but I'm already noticing health problems improving and my family and friends have been nothing but supportive.

I am also a binge eater and I find it takes a lot of willpower to tell myself to stop or to not even start. There's nothing worse than that feeling of being out of control. I haven't found any real solution to it other than therapy or confronting the reason why you're eating. Sometimes, even if you don't think so, there's…

I find nuts, veggies, and yogurt fill you up very nicely :)

I used to be extremely anemic. I take an iron supplement 3 times a day (65mg) and it has helped. Though mine was a very extreme case (I'm still anemic, even after taking the supplements every day for two-three years). I'd recommend green leafy veggies and red meat.

The way we prepare it in my house is to toss it with unsalted butter, Italian seasonings (or oregano, if you don't have that), pepper, and Parmesan cheese (the real stuff, not that powdered crud). It always gets eaten up fast around here. We always serve it as a side dish. :)

This website actually showed me how much sugar I was eating a day. And it was amazing and blew me away. It's helped me make healthier choices. Though some of the other replies are right: sugar is sugar. It's in pretty much everything. Unfortunately.

Hey, I'll send you a friend request. I'm 25 and have about 120 more pounds to lose so I think we could be great supports to each other :)

I have two tats but I'm rewarding myself with my third once I get to my GW. I want a Lady and the Tramp tattoo. Not sure where but it's my favourite Disney movie.

It's doable :) I had 170 pounds to lose and I've lost 43 of that already. In 4 1/2 months. It's doable with eating right, exercise, and lots of determination :D
