I did a month-long boot camp here in Las Vegas and it totally kicked my butt, but I loved it. Good luck!

I started running earlier this year, ad have now run 2 1/2 marathons and 1 full. I hated every bit of it at the beginning. I ran the half, kept training for the full, ran that, and then I didn't run for a few weeks. It was then that I realized that I was missing it. I was missing the early mornings by myself, not having…

I just started yesterday and will be doing day 1 tonight- can I join your group? I've been wanting some support- it's a tough workout!

I guess I should expand a little more history- I had one previously, for 2 years, between having kids, and I never tried to lose weight, and never did lose anything after baby #2. This one was placed about 2 years ago, and I haven't lost much at all since having it in. I don't think it is causing me so much to gain weight,…

Your mom will not be bragging long if she lost the weight by crash dieting...they never work to keep the weight off. I've tried. :) Your friend may just not be as into the health thing as you are, and may not be able to see how important it is to you. Maybe take that as the hint to not talk with her about this topic. Find…

I always run on an empty stomach too- eating before makes my tummy upset, but you have to find what works for you. On longer runs, I'll eat something smaller and dry, like a bagel. Lots of people eat bananas, but they don't work well for me. I'm up to run at around 530, and usually don't eat anything until around 730...

I just watched a few episodes of Heavy on Netflix. I don't think it's on still, but it was on A&E. I liked it because it covered their whole transformation in the hour, but I didn't like how the last few episodes had them at a weight loss "ranch" for the entire show. Of course people could change that fast if they had…

So you're not looking for another training program, just something to do between now and when the actual program begins? I have just used the first week's schedule and stuck with that for the weeks before a training schedule. This gets your body used to running without increasing your mileage too much too fast. Also, don't…

I never was a runner until earlier this year. I had tried C25K late last year, but never really enjoyed it. I think the one thing that has really made me enjoy running was entering races. Even small local events. I have never even been close to placing at all, but just having that goal and that accomplishment when I was…

I just spent a small fortune ($55) on a sports bra- Juno by Moving Comfort- I run a lot, and this is the only one I've found that helps keep the girls in check. I totally agree though- it must be your area- I've never seen a 28 bra anywhere. (And I'm in a 38, so I certainly won't think a 32 is huge either...)

Well, I'm wondering if I've been under eating for all of these months. I've ran countless hours, worked out with Jillian Michaels videos, and did a month long early-morning bootcamp, all with no results at all. (Well, that 11 lbs is for the entire year) I guess you're right about not getting obsessive about the number, but…

I did it for about 6-7 months after having baby #2. I agree with the above post about it being great for older women, or those who need to start a little slower. I never felt like I got a really great workout, and never got "tired" like I do with other workouts. I know if I went back now, after having quite a bit of…

You look great, and you can for sure see a difference! I'm going to start again on Monday with the 30DS- hopefully I'll have the same great results! I love 30DS. When you finish with that one, you should try Ripped in 30- very tough workout, but I felt like it was a good step up from 30DS.

Personally, I don't count fruits or veggies to be negative at all. I can eat a whole watermelon and still feel like I did great for the day. Better than the artificial sugars or candy loaded with sugar, and they are natural and easier for your body to digest. (I actually think Jillian Michael talked about this on a podcast…

I cut out sodas last November, and I keep thinking, maybe I'll just go back to drinking them...but now it seems like such a time investment I don't want to ruin it! :)

I just don't like it because it makes me feel really "big" in my stomach, but it does help me fill up so I don't eat too much. I've gotten in the habit over the last couple weeks to always have a water bottle with me. I bought a SmartWater, 1 liter size, and try to fill it up at least 3 times over the day. It may not taste…
