Just remember that you aren't at fault if HE doesn't believe in your marriage vows. Those aren't words a loving husband should say to his wife. And furthermore, you should never feel obligated to listen to hurtful statements from ANYONE. You are the only judge your mind and body need.

Fat loss comes mostly from diet. Continue your workouts, eat at a small calorie deficit, and be patient with yourself. The less you have to lose, the longer it is going to take.

Chocolate bars. Ugh. The flavor is overwhelming without anything to cut it, and the texture is completely unappealing.

It doesn't matter when you're eating as long as you aren't eating too much or too little. I eat the majority of my calories at night and haven't had any problems maintaining a healthy weight. If it works for you, it works.

This is a fun calculator. It definitely challenges your perceptions of yourself. I've always considered myself average (not fat, not skinny). It's strange to think that our definitions of those words could have changed so much in such a short amount of time. BMI is 21. National Below average You have a lower BMI than 86%…

I haven't tried hemp, but NOW Foods has a good pea protein. If you want some other brands to look into you could do a search for vegan protein powder reviews.

I don't see what harm it does to give consumers an idea of what they are actually buying. It seems pointless to argue against it when all the other foods we buy are labelled. Chain restaurants with 20+ locations like the law applies to are using factory prepped food and standardized cooking systems anyway. I don't see any…

There are hemp and pea protein powders available. They might be more agreeable to your allergies.

5'6" 21 years old. Starting weight: 145lbs with a 29.5" waist. Current weight: 126lbs with a 26" waist. I don't really have a goal weight. I have fitness goals that I want to achieve, but the most important thing is just to keep improving myself in any way possible, and to not backslide. Calorie intake: Anywhere from 1200…

I always work out barefoot (at home and at martial arts). If you're not used to it your feet and ankles are going to be sore in places you never knew they could be, but that's a plus not a minus in my book. Trust your body. If anything starts feeling off, take a rest or dial the intensity down.

I do taekwondo 3-4 times a week (classes are 75 minutes each). In the morning I try to get in at least 15 minutes of rope jumping, and in the evening I try to get in least 15 minutes of body weight exercises. I also hike/walk a lot when the weather is nice. Unfortunately it's going to be stormy for a while here. I'm not…

35 is my record so far. Not bad for a chick who couldn't even do three in a row back in January.

A pint of Ben & Jerry's.

I don't skip breakfast to save calories. I skip breakfast because solid food before lunch makes me gag. I don't think anyone should go out of their way to have or not have breakfast. Do what's comfortable.

Yeah, I'm sure the average serving of mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving is half a cup. This article seems like it's trying too hard in the other direction.

It's to maintain a reasonable (rather than extreme) deficit for weight loss. If you do more, you can eat more.

I walk between 6 and 8 miles a day on average, sometimes more. If you aren't used to walking long distance your legs will probably be very sore by the end of the day, but it's not going to cause any long term damage. We evolved with walking as our primary means of travel. In addition, you might not be walking fast but the…

I've done Taekwondo for four years and I love it. The best advice is to get to know the studios in your area and pick one based off of the style of instruction as well as what is being taught. Even within the same discipline there is a lot of variation that's entirely dependent on who is teaching and who they learned from.
-
I lost 15lbs and went from a 34G to a 30FF, but like others are mentioning it's entirely dependent on your own body and genetics.

Dehydration always makes my teeth hurt. Are you getting plenty of water?
-
You could always log the first 15 minutes as one exercise, and the second 20 minutes as another. That's what I do when I go on multiple walks in one day.
-
Stop forcing yourself to eat in the morning, and eat in the evening instead.
-
I log salad ingredients separate, but create recipes for my dressings since I make them myself. If you're being consistent about ingredients and amounts you could just create a recipe for all of it, and that would save you time logging.

My mom did it YEARS ago and ended up dropping around 15 pounds, but slowly gained it back after it was over. It's pretty much just another unsustainable diet that's fine if you're trying to drop some weight fast for an event, but not if you're trying to change your life.

I'm sorry, I should have specified that a cube merely looks like a square on each side. How silly of me.
-
Cutting out (or at least down) your coffee and soda consumption should kick start your appetite. You might have to force yourself to eat, just like people losing weight have force themselves not to eat, but it will get easier as you dedicate yourself to it and your body adjusts.
-
It means 1/4" on each side. A cube is a square.

If you're already meeting your protein goals there's no need for supplements. Though there are various soy and dairy free protein powders available, like hemp or pea.

Seriously, this. I'm getting super tired of the "starvation mode" panic around here.

Top hourglass. All the clothes suggestions made me sad I have no shopping money right now!
