I've heard about it, read about it, researched it...

What is your personal experience with "fat flush": what did your body look like, how did you feel, is this even real, etc.?

EDIT: I MEAN "WHOOSH." THE "WHOOSH."

Never heard of it, but the name alone makes it sound kind of like a gimmick.

I flush fat away every morning...in the toilet. Other times during the day vary, but once each morning is pretty much a guarantee.
  • My mom did it YEARS ago and ended up dropping around 15 pounds, but slowly gained it back after it was over. It's pretty much just another unsustainable diet that's fine if you're trying to drop some weight fast for an event, but not if you're trying to change your life.

Woops, I didn't even realize there were some crash diets called "Fat flush." I'm talking about the experience people say they have when, while losing weight, they find themselves a little bit squishy all of a sudden, then wham, they're not? Maybe I'm misusing the word here. I read some research on it forever ago, BUT I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE WORD RIGHT I GUESS.

    Oh, a "whoosh!"

I've had a couple, where my weight hasn't moved on the scale for a couple days, then all of a sudden, bam! Down 5 or 10 pounds. I personally attribute it to a crappy scale, rather than any physical process...though I do note that they tend to happen if I up my hydration...which makes me think that most of what's being lost is water.
