I guess I should stop eating top soil :(

Visited some family overseas. So it was the combination of being overweight on an airplane and seeing myself in a lot of photos, which I had always avoided doing lol. I still use them as motivation from time to time. If you had asked me how much I weighed, I'd have said 270 or so, but I had actually went a little over 300…

I love breakfast so much I just cut out lunch to make more room for it.

This guy knows.

I eat a lot of fruit, bananas mostly. If I get tired of them, I just start making smoothies. Also have french toast every morning, which is pretty much a dessert. Sometimes I'll get sugar free pudding, but man, pudding. How do you not just eat it all up?
-
I did for a long time, but the calories I spend exercising were just never really enough to concern myself with, and also hard to gauge.
-
I usually just grill chicken breasts, cut up and toss on a salad. Add some black beans and corn... Or if I have toasted sesame dressing, walnuts or well, any kind of nut I guess. Also one of any thousand of soup recipes with chicken.

I've never noticed it, does it cost $10 a pint and taste like flavored ice?
-
Eh, nothing stands in for ice cream in my experience. Some days I just eat next to nothing so I can have a big bowl of chocolate ice cream.

Wait, if you're daily goal is 1200 and you burn 300 exercising, wouldn't your net be 1500? I never eat back my exercise calories, so I don't bother recording it... But I thought that was how it worked.

Atkin's was the first diet I ever tried and it worked pretty well, but I found that I couldn't maintain it long term. I think it's important to ask yourself before starting any diet is if the food you'll be eating is something you can see yourself eating for the rest of your life. Low carb diets are far too restrictive for…

I've taken to skipping breakfast, though sometimes I'll grab a banana or some other fruit but I like having calories to play with later in the day when I tend to struggle more with cravings.
-
I almost never cook, but I decided to make a weeks worth of freekeh soup recently. Ate with a slice of bread.
-
So many things... But I think the one that bothered me the most was the feeling that people were always looking at me. I mean I already have anxiety issues, so being overweight was just adding to that.

All I drink is diet cola, and I lose just fine. I'm drinking a bit more flavored carbonated water now, Clear American.

Really any time, especially if cardio. Strength training, I'd say early in the day, but even then really any time. Late at night kind of sucks though, which is when I do it. I only like running at night, I'm still fat enough that I feel very conspicuous while running. Makes going to sleep at night hard since my body is a…

Yeah I had a pizza last Sunday night, the whole thing. I ate half, took it into the kitchen and put it in the fridge. Came back into my room and sat for about five minutes before going back and eating the rest. Really need to log stuff. I fail at doing it often, especially when I eat at my parents and it's a ton of stuff…

I'm guilty of eating only fried fish consisting of fried Catfish and Tilapia mostly. Also eat fried Salmon patties far more often than I should. They're just so easy to make :( Going to go with others and say fish tacos. At least, that's what I'm going to try next.

I'm using slim fast (3-2-1 plan is designed for 1200 calories), as it's a really easy way to keep track of calories because you only have to worry about one meal a day, which is a 500 calorie one. For that, I just browse allrecipes.com healthy section and go from there. It's really easy to get right at or within 100…

I think pig out days just reinforce old/bad habits and make every other day of the week a bit harder. But again, that's me.
-
As others have said, make SURE you're consuming the amount of calories you think you are. In all likelihood, you're eating more than you think. I do this often, as I tend to be a bit biased when calculating my meals. The solution is almost never to eat more.
-
Thanks for this.

Just switched to these and agree with someone above who said they taste a little better than Slim Fast, but mostly they're better because they're way cheaper. I follow the plan (finding it easy), though can't find all of the flavors where I live. Little too soon to talk about results, but I'd recommend them to anyone who…
