I'm in for 400 a conservative miles this month. Im at 348 right now...
-
Ran 312 miles of my 300 mile goal as of date. There is another 5 days left, so I probably will rack up another 60 or so miles. :)

I'm also in!! Woohoo! See you all there. Still looking for Stow's monthly challenge
-
Or was it 13.1... I think it was 13.17 or something like that... Not quit .2

Lol... I just love to run... And fun a lot :) .. I did 400+ miles last month. Running a 50k next week and my dumb *kitten* haven't started tapering yet. I tried to stop running this morning but my legs wouldn't stop until it hit 13.2!!! Whoohhoo!! I'll try and taper when I pace my friend to her first BQ in November but I…

5'5 CW: 123 GW: 118 Want to see if less weight will add speed...

I'm in! My husband wouldn't mind so its a win win situation right there!

Running solves most problems!
-
I recommend running :)

I'd put you as moderately active to be on the safe side. Lightly active seems too low.
-
I'm with the 'just break up' crew
-
Where do you live? Could I be your running partner... would love to see what you are talking about to better assess the situation. Strictly to help you babe.
-
I couldn't do this... carbs are energy source, you need energy for running.
-
eat when you are hungry... and breakfast is the first meal of the day

no

Wow you are bad *kitten*!! Seriously! Good job!
-
I think you should be fine in 6 weeks. You'll have more confidence to run that marathon after our ultra :-)
-
You kind of have to see what works best for you. I eat until I'm full. However, when I'm training for a really long run say a marathon or longer, I try to run on empty occasionally. Not particularly to lose weight, but to train my body to go for longer without fuel (I have a tendency of not being able to eat much during a…

Meat (since my husband as a tendancy to not finish his plate and I have a tendency to clean up after him. He eats meat and I don't so less to clean up :-)), peanut butter, anything with mint in it, anything with coconut in it. Also, don't drink alcohol.. So grateful! Lol

You should also get some insights from Davemunger... He is also a veteran. I'd suggest just messaging him. He is pretty cool and awesome.

All I said was you should pump that baby up to 60 rpms and don't go below intensity of 8.... You are a hell of a runner, you runner chick you... Stop short changing yourself and start killing your elliptical workout! Also, don't come off until you've completed at least 20 minutes!
-
This, my only adjustment is... if you are feeling good and rested for the second marathon, also race that one as well. :-)
-
I know stopping sucks, but sometimes it's just best... The dog could have bitten you because it was startled.
-
But why would you run between a woman and her puppy though... that's mean :-(
-
I cut about 30 minutes from my first half time at the second half. But then again, I've only ran about 5 half races in my lifetime. Lesson learnt: have fun and enjoy it. It's pretty cool having water and Gatorade along the way for a long run.
-
to add to all: Don't eat something unknown the night before or day of the race. You don't want to be the person known for crapping his/her pants!!
-
I agree with this! you'd be safer to take baby steps first. I'd try for an 8min 30 sec mile though since 9 to 8 is still a significant jump. But that's just me since I'm one of those slacker runners...

Umm... You did Pike's Peak? You are golden! Have fun and you are gonna crush that ****!
