  • Yes, I like spending time with my family. My sister and I are close and our husbands get along well, so we often have dinner at each other's house just to hang out, play board games or just shoot the breeze. Along with our parents, we all go away on holidays together too. In fact, I just spent 4 weeks overseas with them. I…
  • Wow! What a great job you have both done. And you have the best reward in your beautiful little baby.
  • LOL  They are called porcupine meatballs because they have grains of rice in them that stick out like porcupine spines. I've never actually eaten a real porcupine, I wonder if it tastes like chicken?
  • Yep, and they are yummy! Recipe here: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/16053/porcupine+meatballs It says serves 4, but I make smaller meatballs and can get 6 serves out of this recipe.
  • For me - I had a lightning bolt moment when I first met him and just knew that he was someone special. He on the other hand is by nature a very cautious person, so it took some time for us to get to know each other as friends before he felt comfortable enough to become boyfriend/girlfriend. He proposed on the second…
  • Rocky Road all the way! And do a whole bunch of exercise the DAY BEFORE so you know you've earned the treat and you can enjoy it guilt free.
  • My start weight was 101kg (222lbs), and my ultimate goal is to get to 70kg (154lbs) where I will re-evaulate, and perhaps even try for 65kg (143lbs). Mini goals: Lose another 5kg (11lbs) before Xmas/New Year Get down to 80kg (176lbs) by Easter 2013
  • Last night was Subway - 6 inch roasted chicken and salad. Tonight will be Porcupine Meatballs and vegies.
  • I've only been doing this for a few weeks and while I still look pretty much the same in the mirror, I have noticed that my pants are more baggy around the waist.
  • I've only been doing this for a few weeks and while I still look pretty much the same in the mirror, I have noticed that my pants are more baggy around the waist. I don't excercise like crazy at the gym or anything, but I do try and do some form of exercise (be it a walk, vigorous housework etc) every day. Counting…
  • 5kgs (11 pounds) is my ideal goal. But as long as I keep losing weight up to the holiday period and don't put on any, I'll be happy.
  • No calorie counting for my kids. We provide them with meals that have a combo of meats & vegies, and then a yoghurt for dessert. If they get full, and don't want anymore that's fine, as long as they've given it a go. But if they can't finish their dinner, they can't have dessert. We also teach them to have treats/junk food…
  • Don't do it. No job is worth risking you health, safety and sanity. Especially a job that you don't really like and doesn't pay well. You are better off putting your time end enrgy into finding another job that is more suited to you.
  • We must be twins! I could have written this word for word :-) Crunchy and salty is my weakness. Sweets and candy don't do anything for me. A bag of candy can sit in my pantry for months and I won't touch it. Cheetos last about 3 seconds.
  • I drink some water, and if I still feel hungry I try some green tea or diet coke/pepsi. Also, if it is boredom that is making you hungry try painting you fingernails with polish. It will give you something to do and you can't snack on food while your nails are drying.
  • I hear you - if I eat an apple on it's own, I get really hungy a short time later. But if I eat a slice of cheese at the same time that I eat my apple, it helps me to feel fuller.
