I love spin class. I also do Body Balance and Body Pump. Exercising to music works well for me and I love the class environment.

I gained 4lbs for just over a week then as quickly as it came on it vanished. Not fun.

Wow 20 is great. I am working on speed right now. Doing 5k in 26 minutes on flat. I really want to start distance running shortly. Once I hit my 25 minute 5k I will aim for the distance goal.

I wonder if she is reacting because you getting healthy is forcing her to look at herself. She might not be ready to lose the weight just yet but not ready to be left behind either.

Seconded! Plus being healthier is awesome. I never realised how lousy I felt when I was larger and unhealthy. Healthy gives confidence. Confidence is an attractive feature.

Having just reached a US size 6 I can assure I am not a teenager or a bag of bones. Don't starve myself. Its very healthy and very obtainable with hard work.

Sounds like you are not eating enough. Before going to diet pill route why not visit your doctor? You may have a hormone inbalance that is stopping you losing weight.

I have had it two years and have no issue with weightloss. If you truely believe that it is causing the problem then you should visit your doctor to discuss.

I would second getting body fat tested. When I had mine tested last year I had a bmi of 24 however a body fat of around 21% which is fairly low for a woman. My structure is not small so body fat is a good judge.

Rest them. I had the same issue the past few days. I still went for light walks but strictly no workouts.

I could probably do it on the stationary bike because I find that so dull. Its when I tend to people watch to stop myself getting bored. Spin bike/rower/treadmill there is no way I could.

Yep its most likely the sodium. Make sure you drink plenty of water that will help.

If you are not doing the test on the treadmill then please do not use the treadmill. Running on the treadmill is a lot different to running on the roads. I find the treadmill does a lot of the work for me. Road running works a lot of different muscles.

It frightens me that I used to eat at places like that. Now just the look of that so called food turns my stomach.

How much are you aiming to lose a week? I am 1/2lb a week at 147lbs and 5'8 and my number is 1560. That number is pretty spot on for the weightloss I have been getting.

I have lost over 50lbs and my cup size has only gone down one size. I was a GG and now a G. Band size has changed a lot. Was 36 and now wear a 32/30. I am unlikely to lose too much more because I am an ideal weight. It seems those of us who want to lose boobs don't and those who don't want to lose any lose them.

Get a watch with a chest strap its more accurate. A decent sports bra is also a must for any cardio.

If your HRM has a chest strap and all your correct information programed in then go with it.

I don't deny myself foods just limit them. The thing I did quit was soda. Too much bad stuff in to be worth it. I don't miss it at all.

I am a newish runner. I say newish because I have been treadmill running for a longtime and am now 5 weeks into outdoor running. Really loving it so far. Its a great addition to my fitness routine.

My doctor told me to lose weight. That and being 29.9 on the BMI scale. It was painful enough knowing I was overweight. I really didn't want to add obese to that.

To be honest I have not heard of it. I believe its a keep fit dvd? If thats the case I get so much more from gym, classes, hiking and running.
