I don't think so. Way to few carbs and too much fat, in my opinion. I would try 40%carbs, 30% fat, and 30% protein.

Hi -- I am right there with you but haven't found my "sweet spot" yet -- nothing I have tried has worked. Feel free to add -- I will add you guys too. Am 55, post-menopausal and have 80 pounds to lose....

I'm probably not the most knowledgeable at this, but i would start at lightly active. Eat those calories (but not any exercise calories). give yourself several weeks to see if the scale moves. If you gain, reduce the number of calories you eat by 50 or so a day, until you find the spot where you start losing. If you never…

I like the FitBit one as a motivator and the step counter is very accurate. However, the floor counter is a bit of a joke. When I work late and drive home in a cab, it measures 10 floors because the elevation changes on the ride home. It also counts floors when I take the elevator to my office. I don't pay much attention…

I must stay away from soy so I do not drink them, but I get plenty of protein from the food in my diet.

i have a fitbit. it links (and syncs) with MFP and their website is free. I don't know what the difference between the two is but it figures out my calorie burn for me and adjusts my calorie goal on MFP.

i stopped diet soda cold turkey February 2012. Never looking back. Stopped using artificial sweeteners too (except for the little bit of sugar free vanilla creamer I use in my coffee in the AM). Drink my tea black (both iced and hot). i do drink alot of plain seltzer because I like the fizz of soda, but don't miss soda at…

What a story. Simply amazing.

I agree - if you get your carbs from healthy foods, like dairy, fruit, veggies, and beans, you feel fuller longer. But at the end of the day, if you overeat these types of foods you will still gain weight. Calories in/calories out is the key...

If you get your carbs from nutritionally dense carbs like beans, nuts, fruits, veggies and low fat dairy, you will do just fine. Just avoid processed carbs, and white carbs like white rice and white pasta, cookies, cakes, candy, etc.

I am diabetic and I have turned the sugar tracker off. What you want to be concerned about is total carbs -- stay away from refined sugars and processed carbs -- the sugars from dairy products and from fruit is not the kind of sugar you want to be concerned about. However, if your weight loss is stalled and you eat a ton…
