Hi would like to commit to moving more. Just got second shot but since working from home challenging to make sure i get outside on a daily basis. Eat less and move more.

I have a FitBit One. I also have it connected to my iPhone. I do this from my IPhone. On the FitBit app, at the bottom of my screen, there is a button called account. I click account. I have my fitbtit set to buzz every hour during work day to remind me to get up and walk my office floor which is a city block. My "one thing" has two parts. First part is to actually do it instead of turning fitbit off. Second part is to have it buzz every day instead of just work days.

Was not able to go outside and play due to work constraints and Mother Nature, but I set my FitBit to buzz me every hour on the half-hour to get up from my desk and walk my floor (my building is a city block)

There is a way to calibrate your stride length on the FitBit website. I find my Fitbit (One) to be extremely accurate. I have measured my route with my FitBit and the spedometer of my car and they are identical. So, am not sure this solves your problem but i don't question the accuracy of my FitBit...

Four pounds in a month is a pound a week. That is a reasonable amount of weight loss -- quite sustainable and progress in the right direction.

I'm T2 and know there is a T2 support group. Check out the groups under the Community Tab. I'm sure there is a T1 support group you could join.
