Wow! Thats a tough one! I did Helen this morning and was sick :s First time that has happened. I think its because I was alone again, just with the coach so he was really pushing me. Really really need to work on endurance. Slow and steady does not win the race!
-
So how to work on that? More cardio?
-
Slim fast includes meals too doesnt it? I looked into it and decided not for me, but if you can keep it up then great :-)
-
Very interesting, thank you
-
There is a crossfit group that you may find good
-
Ooh thats a good one! Very well done :p

:D Back again today and it was packed. Warm up was rowing, Junkyard dog and v planks on front and back. WOD was 3 clean and jerk, 3 knee to chest, then 6, 9, 12 etc ... 7 min AMRAP. Need to get some gloves for that pull up bar...
-
Nice

I love rowing but running is a real struggle for me. I also don't like upside down stuff!
-
Turned up yesterday and the box was empty! So I worked on my oly instead and got PBs: Clean and jerk - 37.5kg Deadlift - 75kg Not as much as most on here yet, but Im pretty chuffed with myself! B)
-
I think I am developing down the strength route also. Just getting started again after job change and yet another virus, and my strength is coming on leaps and bounds, but I scale more on the cardio sections - I guess Im just not fit yet, but the strength is easier for me and I guess Ive always been the springy, stronger…

Good reading :-) Trying to live up to it!
-
:p I didnt know there were options for having breast milk yourself on this site lol!
-
Will do ;-) Dont know if health benefits related to fast diet will apply still, but Im hoping it should do the job for weight loss anyway!
-
Ive just started a watered down version where I eat 150 below my TDEE for 5 days and 1000 on the other 2 days. I like variety a bit too much to do a standard lower calorie diet reliably without rebelling, and 500 calories seemed too low to start with along with breastfeeding, so Ive made a compromise that mfp says will…

Chickenpox in the house! I guess this means no crossfit this week...
-
:) In theory I could travel from the other direction, but Im a super novice so maybe not this year :p There are some in my box that are in the competitions though. They are doing something at the moment.
-
This cycling seems good. I wonder if I could apply it to other areas of life...eg exam prep, sorting the house? Probably not work or toddler care!
-
:o :p
-
I used to do one in Middlesbrough pre pregnancies. Might get back into it o:)
-
Ooh that looks really good. I would definitely be a novice but I find competition helpful. Ill ask at the box to see if they know about it - it may just be in USA. - just checked, there one in the west midlands, but thats it for the uk at the moment.
-
Pretty cold here too, but now I actually have one! Unless my daughter has Fifth's disease, which is another possibility. Housebound... :'(
-
:s Doing it in 7s (and being slow as usual) stopped that in some ways - I was ok till I got to about 115.
-
Lol! Yes my time wasn't that great, but I pushed on through so Im happy. Also the others said my technique was good B) It helped to have them yelling at me when they finished.
-
In our box if you don't write your score, you get extra burpees ;-)
-
My first shot at Karen. Thats a mind one - I counted in 7s!
-
Warm up: 400m row 3 x (3 burpees, 6 pressups, 9 squat jumps) WOD: A) 2-2-2-2-2 Thrusters for quality - 32kg B) 21 thrusters, 21 power cleans, repeat with 15, then 9. - 17kg, 13 min 21 sec lol! meant to be a B not a smiley I scaled of course (actually only 3kg below on part A)
-
I used to log it as 500 calories Crossfit (i.e. added my own exercise). Now I log it as 1 calorie and include it in my diet plan
