If your stomach is growling before going to bed and you have calories left, it's a PERFECT time to eat. Unless it disturbs your sleep. Then you should eat a little earlier.
-
That seems to be perfect weight for your height, or actually getting close to the lowest end. Perhaps your body just doesn't want to lose anymore.

Never happened to me... but my ex's mother was kind enough to tell me: "You look like you were still expecting," the day after I had given birth. Never can forget that wonderful feeling.

Hello to all :) I've walked 145km (90 miles) in April already - it's going to be a record month :)

Estonia :)

You have nothing else to do during the day.. and yet you barely find time to eat lunch. Something seems off here.

The calories MFP gives you already put you in a deficit.
-
MFP does not know it all. So you should first wait for the actual results. It has always told me I'd lose less in 5 weeks than I actually have lost. Good luck :)
-
Oh, I was too slow. It sucks being a perfectionist and checking things twice :)

If fat uses more energy than muscle then gaining muscle shouldn't raise the metabolic rate. Muscle is three times (?) more metabolically active at rest than fat. So i guess, it would be 2 calories fat, 6 calories muscles. And it makes perfect sense for the practically starving body to use up muscle first to save energy.

Yes, they are getting smaller and smaller. My mother actually advised me to stop losig weight because of that. But I's rather be flat-chested than stop my fitness journey now that I am doing so well. My boyfriend even said that smaller looks sexier :P

The body will try to burn muscle while on a (very) high deficit because muscle uses more calories for maintenance. If you eat enough protein and use those muscles, the loss should be smaller. However, too large deficit may not leave u with enough energy for strength training. Smaller deficit is safer, healthier and easier…

I have always liked sleeping long, if I can. That can be up to 12 hours per 'night' I don't think that sleeping so long and at weird times had anything to do with my weight gain - I think it was mostly the excess eating. Now that I count my calories, sleeping more or less definitely doesn't affect my weightloss.…

I definitely wasn't suggesting any such thing :) I never said anything about bashing being okay. Only that people always tend to pick up a part of what is said and add more meaning to it than there ever was.

People are way too sensitive about things that others write - thinking they know exactly what others mean. And of course, they also do tend to write things that they needn't - especially when they THINK that someone wrote something insulting. And after that things just escalate... However, I have not once noticed anyone…

I managed to get my shin splints when I made a 'smart' decision to run 8km instead of the normal 4... it was bad then, really bad. But now I am afraid I have made them chronic .. because they keep returning without any running at all. All it took the last time was some intensive walking :(

I am 5'1'' and started my weightloss journey almost 3 months ago :) I netted at 1200 for 2 months, but ate anywhere from 1200 to 2000 kcal a day - depending on exercise. A few weeks ago I upped my calories to my BMR (according to one of the formulas) - 1340 kcal. I rarely feel hungry and haven't felt more tired than…

I have no idea if they work - my guess (and quite strong belief) is they don't... BUT i hate them for constantly appearing on my Facebook and getting e-mails about them... Ugh!!! Like getting daily offers for cheap viagra wasn't enough :D

I feel I am getting ill, but unfortunately I can't eat more, cause I feel nauseous... or well, I suppose I could make myself eat but I doubt it would do me any good, if it came out the same way. My son just had this a couple of days ago and I had to do a lot of cleaning everywhere :) which in itself wasn't a bad thing. In…

Hey :) I 'm 5'1 (155 cm) and at the moment weigh about 143 pounds (65 kg). The current goal is 121 pounds. I'd like to get there by my birthday in April ;) if not, then atleast before summer...

The food also weighs just being there in your system :) i wouldn't call it gaining weight because, if you wait a bit you are bound to lose it again after it's done being digested.
