Excellent stuff. Congratulations on getting to Onderland! :) I have very similar goals to you - I am 5'8" and would like to get to around 162lbs (74kg). My CW is around the 237 but started at 254 (yikes). I've sent you a friend request.

You look amazing! Success stories like yours give me inspiration. For me your story is fitting as I'm trying to lose weight slowly and if I can lose 20kg at a minimum over the course of a year I would be over the moon! Thanks for sharing!

When I send friend requests to people I let them know that I have a closed diary and the reasons why - that why they can choose not to accept my friend request if that is a deal breaker for them. (When people friend me and ask - I tell them politely my reasons) The reasons why I have a closed diary is: 1. I write personal…

feel free to add me too. I have a lot of weight still to lose. I've been using MFP for 90 days and log on without fail every day. I don't have an open diary so understand if people don't want to me due to that.

I find the same thing (but try not the feel guilty anymore!). I put it down to - less time in the car - I have up to 2-3 hours a day without eating or drinking driving to and from work. Also there is the structure of work and meetings and lunch breaks and the absence of readily available food (like being able to walk to…

I have what my podiatrist called "mortons neuroma" in both my feet, but more on my left foot than my right. At my worst, just walking inflat shoes from my car to the office was unbearably painful. Good shoes and I also have orthotics which help reduce the pain when exercising. (and have just started slowly working on c25k)…

Feel free to add me. I joined MFP towards the end of October last year. Although I'm from the other side of the world (think land Downunder), I'm slowly adding a network of "pals" on here to help support and motivate me. I do most of my exercise by lunch time walks (to get out of the office) and workouts at home. Even…

Hi from Australia (but I have cousins that live towards the south end of Germany). Feel free to add me. I have *lots* of weight to lose but I've found MFP a great support network and community. Good luck on your weight loss.

I started C25K nearly 2 weeks ago....I'm up to day 3 of week 1....... I've never been a runner / jogger.......pretty much dislike it with a passion, but I can walk for hours and hours. Even in my teenage years when I was thin (approx 128 lbs at 5' 8") played sport (netball and softball) and cycled I was never one for…

Still one week one but have made it to day 3 which for me is amazing! My time limit to get through the program is by he end of this year. I don't want to get disappointed and give up....I'm just oing to keep slogging away. :)

Rest it for a few days and see how it goes - if it doesn't get better go I'd go to a physio as soon as you can. I did some real damage to my knee a few years back and the doctor told me it was just a soft tissue injury and to wait 6 weeks......physio diagnosed it correctly and I had to push the doctor to refer me to a…

I'm 37 - will turn 38 in a few months time. Feel free to add me. :)

Mine is my profile pic......I only have the one at the moment but am thinking of a 2nd sometime this year....

Feel free to add me, I'm in this for the long haul as well. I'm 5'8" and currently down to about 239 (have lost 16lbs so far so it's still early days for me). I'm married with one 6 year old boy and work full time. My weight went up by over 20 pounds in the middle of last year and I felt awful physically and mentally. This…

Feel free to add me, I'm another Aussie, been using MFP since October. Having a good support network on here has kept me motivated longer than my usual "diet".

I've got some silicon / plastic things that go around the band of the ring at the back to make them "smaller" without having to get my rings re-sized yet. Also a Chinese lady at work said that what she had done in the past was sew loops of thread around the back of the ring (the underneath part) to "bulk it up" and make…

^^^^^^^^ This! This sounds exactly like me - I have a spare bedroom wardrobe full of clothes that used to fit me or I purchased in a smaller size for motivation or for when I reached my goal weight.....they always stayed out of reach :( I personally, buy things that fit me now and then when I hit my goal weight I will go…

Thanks for that info, I was wondering the same thing tonight (how to add c25k)
-
I'm just in the process of joining but it won't let me use my MFP name there as I have an underscore in it......so on the other site my user name is "shandi b" with a space (just in case there was any confusion)
-
Count me in if there is still a spot left. (just did the December challenge). It has really helped keep me on track and accountable.
-
Wow what a transformation! Thanks for sharing - truly insprirational. I am a little over 2 months into my journey.....I'm only hoping that I can keep it up and have a great result in the end as well....

Personally I've always hated running, even when I was a thin fit teenager (played netball and cycled), I could never run more than 1-2 km at a time. However I'm seriously considering doing C25k just to prove to myself I can do it as well as getting fit in process. Feel free to add me.

I took nearly 18 years to get my first one. If you want to get one, go for it. Personally I finally got one that means something to me (my profile pic - its a lotus flower). Sure it's in a spot that is commonly referred to as a tramp stamp, I don't care. My hubby loves it and it's easy to conceal for work purposes. I am…

I don't have a glass of wine every night, but do every 2nd or 3rd night (nearly always on a Friday night!). I just make sure it fits in with my calorie allowance for the day. I've been successful so far. I've set MFP for a slow loss of 1 lb a week and so far I've been able to fit in the odd chocolate bar or glass of red…

I've told my husband and a couple of my close friends and (the whole world on MFP). Other than that, nope - not telling anyone and a couple of reasons why: 1. I work with a bunch of guys that are think they are the food police at the best of times 2. My mother (who has been on a diet since as long as I can remember),…

If there is still a spoti would like to join as well.
