Count me in too!

I'm in exactly the same boat. I've had a horrible 2-3 years of no work / life balance (the company I work for was first sold and spun off into it's own entity and then it merged with another company - so stress levels aren't great either) and eating crap and then a shoulder injury (and the chronic pain that went along with…

41 here and although I log on everyday I haven't gotten back into logging everything. I had success 2-3 years ago but then work and stress happened and I put on everything I lost plus more - so I'm starting again as well. Feel free to add me so we can help support each other.

Thanks for adding me :)

I'm in - I need to get back into this year. The last 18 months have been terrible for me - I couldn't get motivated - so New Year - new motivation (now that I've made it past Christmas!)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You are so inspiring! I'm glad to have you on my side keeping me motivated. Your determination is amazing.

Feel free to add me! I'm in the same boat as you. About to turn 40 and have been overweight / obese since my mid 20's :( I need to lose about 40kg (I think that's around the 85-90lb mark). As for cussing - doesn't bother me for the most part - being Aussie and all :p (it's just the really nasty / degrading swear words that…

Nothing yet (apart from walking up and down the stairs doing housework) but have made plans for a friend to pick me up tonight on her way to the gym to do a 60 min Body Balance class with her. (so no chickening out for me!)

Feel free to add me. I've been on here for a while but this year has been a write off and many of my old pals have drifted away, so I'm starting over and need to get my support network happening again. :). A bit about me, I turn 40 next year, married with a very active 8 year old boy.

You are inspirational! I got lost in the wilderness this year, I need to get back on track and your pic has given me the kick in pants to get focused again. I'm glad to have you as one of my pals on here. :)

I'm starting over as well......feel free to add me and we can try and support each other. :)

OMG!!! You look amazing! You are such an inspiration to me!

If you still have room - I would love to join the challenge - I need something to keep me accountable!
-
That is an awesome result!!! Keep up the great work! Seeing your pics this morning is just what I needed to give me a kick up the butt and get back into it! Thank you for sharing!

I use traps that I buy in the supermarket or hardware store and bait them with peanut butter. I get my husband to deal with the dead mouse in the trap - usually it is caught overnight. I had a mouse run past the window of the lounge room (inside the house) the other week. Put two traps out in that area and by the next…

Arnotts Bbq shapes.... I could easily munch through the whole box so I don't have them around me. I also love peanut butter cups when I travel to the USA. Other than that an open bottle of wine!

Infrastructure and Support Specialist......fancy name for a resident computer nerd at an organisation that keeps the servers, corporate applications etc up and running. :)

OMG! That's a vegetable I haven't heard of in years! I remember having to learn it for my produce tests back when I was a checkout chick in the 90's. You have just given me inspiration to try and locate some in Melbourne and try cooking it as an adult.

I'm almost 39 and would like to try and be closer to my goal weight before I turn 40..... I've been at it fir 12 months, lost 13 kegs and have put back on 5 kg so now have about 35kgs to lose and yes....I find it difficult to lose and keep off the weight. Feel free to add me.

Personally I have been tested for Celiac's and it came back negative. However, after suffering from hayfever type symptoms constantly, claggy throat, sinus infections which then progressed to excessive joint pain in my hands and feet. My GP referred to to a Rhematologist as my inflammation markers in blood tests were…

I would love to join too. I have about 30-35kg still to lose. I am on an overseas holiday at the moment but will be back in Aus. On the 3rd Oct and ready to get back into it and it would be good to be accountable. :)
-
Please send me an invite too. :) I am back from my overseas holiday next week and I'm sure that I've put on some of the weight I have lost and need to get back into it again as soon as I get home!
-
I jogged for 2.5 mins without stopping. The most I have done in my adult life is 1.5 mins since starting c25k!

I have a couple of compressed discs.....sciatica was something that I suffered from on a regular basis....sometimes I could barely move, each step woul cause the "shooting pain" and I livedon anti inflammatory tablets like volaren. I've been much better since doing clinical Pilates. (the classes I do have an instructor…

Incredible! Such an amazing transformation and you LOOK soooo much younger now. Keep up the great work. :)
-
I'm with both of you! Nice strong cup of black tea with a dash of milk! Repeat several times a day. :)

Not from NZ but from over the ditch in Aus. I've been on here for a while too and log on daily. Feel free to add me if you like. :) In the past 9 months, I've lost 12.5kg - still have heaps to go but the way I figure it - it's still lighter than what I was this time last year and at least I'm not gaining! :)

Is this where I can paraphrase the Coles ad and say "down down your weight is down and staying down!" Awesome success! I am around the same height as you and similar starting weight, but being much older I'm just hoping to get back down to around 72 kgs...... Reading your story and others like it gives me inspiration. You…
