not pushing yourself too hard is good advice. i find that i get really excited about running when i make new playlist with fun, upbeat songs. it feels really good when you reach goals you set for yourself and it motivates you to keep going. i started running in march at 220 pounds at 5' 4". I was running 3 miles at a time…

everyone has their trigger foods. i think it takes a good 6-8 weeks to change habbits once you notice a change in your body, it will be a big motivater for you not to want those things. it takes time to change life-long habbits, but you can do it!

i have the polar ft4. i just got an app on my phone called MapMyWalk and it has a calorie counter that is always within just a few calories of my HRM. and it was free. it also tracks your miles, your pace, and your routes you walk/jog. if youre a runner/walker this would be a great app!

also, i just got this app on my phone, MapMyWalk. it calculates distance, time, pace, and calories. i have an HRM and the calorie counter on this app is generaly the same as my HRM. and its a free app!!

i do the same i recently tried to refrain from weighing for 3 weeks and found i lost less weight in that time then when i weigh everyday. plus i have learned how different foods affect me, which is good to know! if it would drive you crazy to weigh every day then dont but if you realize weight fluctuates and just because…

go as much or as little as you want. if you make it like a chore, or something you "need" to do vs. something you WANT to do, you are more likely to give up on it. go when you need to de-stress or need some "me" time. set fitness goals that are attainable and will make you proud of yourself!! The key is to make it a…

IPA's are not necessarily darker beers. Most tend to be lighter in color. Adding water to beer (especially a craft beer) is so wrong! I am not a fan of IPA's but I do enjoy most craft beers, like a good stout or porter and I would rather not drink them than add water tho them!!!!

I go to the gym when my hubby comes home or do 30 day shred in the play room and lock the kids out!! The 30 day shred is only 20 minutes, so it's ideal for busy moms. before i got pregnant with my son, i would jog with my 1 1/2 year old in the stroller. That was my favorite!! I can't wait until it's nice again so I can go…
