  • Hahahaha! Well, they can be yours for the low, low price of $2K.... But this designer does make some crazy awesome shoes: http://kobilevidesign.com/index.php/
  • The shoe is called "Blow" so I'm pretty sure it's a valve like on a... pool float.
  • This shoe has been peer-reviewed* to be the most attractive to the heterosexual male. *Not going to provide the source, but it totally exists, I promise.
  • I hated it. Felt like I did when Dexter ended, that I wasted my time watching this show. It seemed to move very slowly for me. Too much time given to things that could have been wrapped up two episodes ago. Maybe the writers wanted a "neat little bow", but most fans seem to feel let down. I would however be totally into an…
  • I second the EatSmart scale, although I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Capacity-Recognition-Technology/dp/B004L6NTHU/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1408146116&sr=1-2 It's great. Also has (fairly accurate) body fat %, bone density, hydration that you can set for several users.
  • Damn, too late to the party. Oh well, guess I'll spend the evening:

  • Thank you so much! I will def check that out. My trainer also said to eat a gram of protein per pound, but maybe he meant lean body weight. I see him in the AM, so I will make sure to ask him to look at my numbers.
  • We need to be friends, lady! WHO DAT!!! I live in Metairie, but have to say, I go to Mid-City for pretty much EVERY game. I love Finn McCool's or Bayou Beer Garden.
  • Thanks for the replies everyone. I know I can make good choices, at least 5 days each week, and I can be mindful when eating out. I just wanted to know what people's strategies were. This ^^^^ for sure!!! My brunch last weekend was probably 2000 calories by itself. I ate the eggs and the shrimp and just a little bit of…
  • Also this +1. My new calorie goal is 1778 and allows for a loss of .7 per week.
  • I know, the fast food cravings are TOUGH! But it's also about the little swaps/omissions, I went to Chipotle with a friend over the weekend and got a burrito bowl (so no tortilla, had brown rice instead of white, no cheese, a REALLY hard thing for me) and we split a bag of chips, each only eating about 6-8. Definitely eat…
  • Have you considered trading your AM cereal for a high protein shake? I find if I start my day with more protein, I'm less likely to indulge in "bad" treats. And maybe try a couple of other swaps, greek yogurt for your sour cream (tastes practically the same, but you can also make it sweet with honey and cinnamon. really…
  • Height: 5'5" SW: 215 CW: 179 (had gotten down to about 165 or so and then the holidays rolled around) GW: Between 135-145 Currently doing zumba, pilates, and spin; also just started weight training as of this AM. I do the cardio workouts 4 or 5 days a week, and plan on doing the weight training two of those mornings. Just…
  • I live in New Orleans, and would be happy to make some recommendations. You said you were coming with family (does that include small children?); the aquarium and insect museum are both located downtown near where the cruises leave from. There's also a really cool tour company with motorized bicycles (or regular if you…
  • I had this same question the other day. My NB N4 HRM just quit working properly (replaced both batteries and still getting numbers that are way off), so I was looking into replacing just the HRM with the Polar FT7. I didn't realize the Vivofit did both, although the cost seems kind of high. I mostly do cardio classes, and…
  • I also had to give up Coke (all soft drinks, really) cold turkey, b/c they are the slippery slope that leads to me eating a LOT of fast food, since I don't keep Coke/soft drinks in the house. What about drinking iced tea? To still get some flavor/caffeine without all the calories? My other trick to drink more water is to…
  • I just bought a huge thing of 0% Fage greek yogurt and am looking for stuff to do with it, so I'm glad I found this thread! My easy favorite is just to drizzle with a bit of local honey, but I am planning on making these: http://www.bromabakery.com/2013/04/37-calorie-brownies-and-no-im-not.html?m=1 They are a little more…
  • I feel exactly the same way. I have lost almost 50 lbs (49.6) and I am still wearing size 12 pants (getting looser), when I started out in (an admittedly tight) size 16. That lower belly pooch hasn't caught up with the rest of my body's weight loss. Granted, I am ECSTATIC to have shirts button over my chest with ease and…
  • I really like Jay Robb Whey protein powder. It is 110 calories per serving, 0 fat, 1 g carbs, 0 sugar with 25 g protein. It is sweetened with stevia. I last bought it on Amazon, 24 oz. bag for right under $35.
  • Second for Amazon. I got my last box of Choc Chip Cookie Dough for about $28.00.
  • Bump, in hope of an answer later. Want to try these, but just ordered a box of the cookie dough.
  • Oh and this ^^^^ too. Awesome.
  • At least one dress that makes me look like Joan Holloway on Mad Men.
  • Cookie dough is INSANE! In fact, I just finished eating one; so good. I like the brownie as well. Saw Quest was coming out with a Double Chocolate Chunk that I am definitely going to try. Hated Lemon Cream Pie AND Strawberry Cheesecake. Just yuck.
  • TWUNT is my new favorite word. Awesomesauce.
  • Add me too! I'm here daily, MFP is becoming more addictive than Pinterest right now, hahaha. And my food diary is open to friends. We can all use motivation and support.
  • ^^^^^THIS!!!^^^^   I like my men like I like my Oreos, black and white and three at a time.
  • My AM smoothie is great because it gives me the caffeine boost without all the sugar: 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder 1/2 a frozen banana 1 tbsp psyillum whole husk 1 tsp ground cinnamon 4 oz vanilla coffee concentrate (I buy Cool Brew, but you can make your own with really strong coffee and freeze into cubes.) 2 oz…
