  • I log mine. I'm really making an effort to get enough calcium so this helps. Plus they have 15 calories in them lol.
  • Maybe it's cause your a Cubs fan (says the Brewers fan)? In all seriousness though I think people just get in their own and don't pay attention to others. I try to wave or at least smile at people when running.
  • YES - it's the kind of energy that makes me want to bang out some extra workout time.
  • What kind of chicken breasts are you buying? I get a bulk 3lb pack at Wal-Mart for about $6. Lasts me about 2 weeks (only eat them for lunch).
  • Sweets - cookies, bars, candy, cupcakes, regular cake, brownies...you name it. I'm currently doing the 30 Day Shred, so I gave up sweets and alcohol through the 30 days. Hopefully this will help eliminate my cravings.
  • Ahhh man!! But congrats on losing the weight!! :drinker: PS - I agree with the OP who said sell 'em on Ebay. I sold a pair of gently used ones and got almost $100 for them.
  • GREAT JOB lady!! Totally random - but where is that Polka Dot dress from? Super cute!!
  • Cookies, and cupcakes, and sugar oh my! I'm not a huge fan of chocolate...but put candy or baked goods in front of me and I will pig out like there is no tomorrow.
  • How do you know - maybe his girlfriend is getting manly by lifting weights? I mean she could be out lifting him and making him question his manlyness.
  • So I have a question - why does the troll get so much enjoyment from messing with people. I mean is their life that boring that they must cause drama with a bunch of strangers on a weight loss website? I barely have time to start drama in real life...let alone on the internet.
  • I think I defriended the same person too!
  • 1) Spinach 2) Chicken "tits" 3) Unsweetend almond milk 4) Eggs 5) Garlic powder
  • Hubster and I are going to start very soon! I have been taking a prenatal (with DHA) for about 6 months. I also eat lots of spinach (Folic acid), drink 2 glasses of unsweetened almond milk a day (calcium), and have salmon/tilapia a few times a week (Omega 3's). I've cut down my caffenine so I don't have to worry about…
  • "Killer Clowns From Outerspace" - clowns are freaky enough...then have them be aliens? NO thanks! I did watch this movie as an adult and realized how stupid it was. "Fire in the Sky" - once again another alien flick. This one was supposed to be based on a true story. I had nightmares for weeks. I refuse to watch this one…
  • I hear ya about trigger foods. It sucks your sister isn't more supportive - but oh well. Have you thought to ask her if she can keep it in her room? PB doesn't need to be refridgerated and it would help.
  • I think we should focus our efforts instead on banning Speedos for all who are NOT on swim teams.

  • I'm 5'5.5" (YES I like to add that extra 1/2 inch  ) and my goal weight is 135 pounds. Actually I'd love to be 125 pounds, but I just dont' think I could ever get that low.
  • Hey lady! NO advice - but I am in your exact same situation. Down to the weight and everything (I'm about 150 and 5.5). Hoping to get some good tips. Do you track your sodium? I know that can make a difference in day to day weigh ins.
  • For Breakfast: Premade protein shakes Egg whites (you can microwave them) Leftovers from the night before (who says breakfast has to be breakfast foods!) Lunch: Salad with some shredded chicken - I have a big round plasitc container and it I put 2oz of Spinach + 1 oz of mushrooms + 4 oz of chicken + 2 oz of broccoli + 2 oz…
  • I'll join!! This is perfect timing for me as I'm looking to clean up my diet before the hubster and I start trying for a little one. I have been pretty much dairy free for almost 2 years now (I do have cheese here and there but that can go). When are we starting? Tomorrow?
  • People get all sensitive about stuff all the time. Me - I like a good dose of sarcasm. On another note - I LOVE LOVE Dean Winchester (aka Jensen Ackles). Thank you for making my day by posting this.

  • Way to go lady!! PS - I totally love your outfit that you have on in the March 2013 photo. Very cute!
  • I think their website lists where you can buy them. Otherwise Target, Best Buy, and Radio Shacks all carry them.
  • Drink LOTS of water Make sure your meals include a combo of protein, fat (healthy kind) and complex carbs (avoid crap carbs like white bread/rice/donuts)
  • This is exactly why I don't talk to anyone ever at the gym. I go in with my headphones and baseball cap on, and don't even make eye contact. Anyway if it were me I would start by bringing up my uber hot (pretend) boyfriend. Give him a name like Channing or Ryan or something else you can remember. Bring him up in…
  • This is a hard one. I think that childhood obsesity is an epidemic - however it's not all the schools fault or responsibility to solve it. When all is said and done I think parents have to shoulder some of the responsibilty as well. As a child I didn't have video games, and although we had a computer the only game I was…
  • Honestly it really all depends on the trainer. I have worked out with two in the past - loved them both! They both taught me new exercises and techniques to add to my arsenal. Plus the weekly workouts were killer. I worked out with one during my entire engagement - and sometimes (when I got really stressed about wedding…
  • I'm a low carber. Adapted the lifestyle because I wanted to get rid of my sweet tooth! Well that and a friend lost 80+ pounds following Atkins. I try to avoid dairy most of the time. I think I'm starting to become lactose intolerant so some days it's tough to find snacks and such.
  • I can get a bit obessive with the scale - so I try to limit myself to a few times a week. I think it's different for everyone. Some people can weigh themselves once a day and not be bothered if it's up or down. For me personally I get bummed if it fluctuates from day to day...which is why I limit it. Nothing wrong with…
  • While I see the value of these shows (motivation, show people they can get off the couch and make some changes) I also think they do more harm then good. They set people up to expect a 7lb a week weight loss. Any loss is a good loss....and I think people lose sight of that when they don't keep par with these weight loss…
