That's terrible! I changed to Efexor from Lexapro, due to my anxiety not improving and not being where I should be at yet. I am scared about when I go off it (if I do). I am going to be taking it long term though and should be ok, I didn't get any side effects coming off of Lexapro.

Honestly? My chest. That is the only GOOD thing about gaining so much weight, and the BAD thing about losing the weight. Right now it's a great size.

I was very slim, up until a few years ago when I stopped exercising as much. I was still a healthy weight for my height up until a year ago when I was put on Avanza, then I gained 15-20kg in 2-3 months, haven't been able to get back to my slim self yet. I have eaten badly for several years, but had a very fast metabolism,…

I have Bipolar Disorder, depression and anxiety disorder, and I definitely use food to cope! I know for some, they self medicate with alcohol or drugs, but for me it is junk food. My doctor said that as my condition is treated properly (with the right medication) I should find that my desire for the food lessens, and if…

Just over a year, I put on a ton of weight (no pun intended) when I was put on Avanza, and haven't lost it quite yet. Before that I was a healthy weight, although my eating habits would have probably led me to be overweight eventually.

I think that's a great idea! I might do the same with my 'before' pic, and make that my profile pic. Thanks for the cool idea!

Great thanks! I have already downloaded the MyFitnessPal app to be able to log my food and exercise wherever I am :)

Well I don't have any sites, but seeing before and after photos of others who have successfully lost weight is a great motivator for me :)

Honestly I think it is a physical addiction, I have tried quitting before, but it only lasts a day, two at most, before I am back on the junk food. It is any, although mainly sweet, I find it easier to do without chips than I do doing without lollies chocolate and Red Bull. Cutting back has lasted a week or two before, but…

I agree with the others, a piece of fruit, for example a small banana will fill you up and is very low in calories :)

I attempted to cut myself a few times, didn't even bleed, I felt like a failure already and then felt like a failure at not even being able to cut, so I understand how you feel. I had been seeing a psychiatrist for a while, and he really helped me. So I highly recommend seeing a counsellor, and getting some help working…

I am currently a size 16 (Aus), a few months ago I was a 10-12. I think my waist is about 36-37 inches, not sure about that though. Have a pair of 29 inch waist Guess jeans that I really want to be able to fit into one day!
